my name is Wendy. We’re going on a interrail trip this summer in august. We are with 3. My husband, me and our 9 year old son. We live in The Netherlands.Â

 Interrailling reminds me of the time when I was young and did a lot of backpacking trips to South America, Asia and Europe. Now I got the same vibe.Â
I’m looking forward to get some tips in this community about traintraveling.

Welcome! Be aware NS has just announced the passes won't be valid on most ICE's leaving NLÂ in Summer (between 17 june and 18 August 2023).
They have just revised their statement, so for now we can only wait what they come up with.

Welcome! Be aware NS has just announced the passes won't be valid on most ICE's leaving NLÂ in Summer (between 17 june and 18 August 2023). Only on those leaving after 16:00 you will be able to use your pass. Alternative routes exist, such as using regional trains (via Venlo, Heerlen or Emmerich), using the IC Berlin (Hengelo-Bad Bentheim) or going via Belgium.
