I was looking at trains from Heidelberg to Munich Central Station but only Munchen Ost Station comes up when I search. Is that correct or am I imputing incorrect information.

Munich Central Station or Munich Ost station
There are multiple train stations in Munich : München Hbf and München Ost are the major ones.
Most long-distance trains terminate at München Hbf. For planning (and eventual seat reservations) it's best to use bahn.com
