Hallo ZusammenIch habe Pläne wieder eine Interrail Reise zu machen evt im Sept 2023 oder 2024 und ich habe eine Route gesehen :Luzern-Venedig-Ljubljana-Zagreb-Bratislava-PragIch habe dann die folgende Verbindung gesehen ab 8.30 Ljubljana mit dem Euronight nach Zagreb ich wollte schauen ob man eine Sitzplatz reservierung machen kann es ist leider nicht möglich. Würde uns der Kontrolleur trotzdem mitnehmen und wir sitzen dann bsp. im Zug Gang oder ist es nicht möglich? Würde mich über eine Rückmeldung freuen Freundliche Grüsse Rebublic
i was planning a trip to swiss alps, but my family is not skiing, so not worth it. Asking for help planning 10 days in europe. i need an itinerary that allows us to see as much as we can in a short time. flying in to one city and out of another to maximize places visited would be great. thanks
I’m confused about what I have done.I tried to reserve two seats on the train from Prague to Zurich. When I look in detail, I see I am allocated two seats on the Prague to Linz leg but not on the next leg.When I looked at the seat layout on the Linz to Zurich leg, it looks like all the seats are in rows of 3. All bar one have the two seats closest to the window marked as if reserved and the only two side by side seats left appear to be a middle and aisle seats.Does this mean we can’t get window seats on the Linz to Zurich leg, or am I doing something wrong? I have a 1st class Eurail Pass and I am going on the day train to get a good seat with a good view. The booking is for May 6, which I could only access starting a few days ago. Have I missed out already?
Hi 😀I have interrail global pass, and want to like to do a reservation for AVI 9742 from LYON PART DIEU (2:30pm) - Barcelona Sants (7:32pm). I get over the interrail seat reservation this error message: “It seems no price offer is available right now. It is possible that all pass holder seats are sold out. Please check 'More information' and try other ways to book this seat reservation, or buy a separate full fare ticket to board. You need to buy a seat reservation to board.”So i called SNCF and they said to me, this train doesn’t exist, so it’s an failure from interrail website. Could somebody confirm that to me? That i would look after a different connection. More background information why this train: So I will start the trip in Munich, and want to be before 9pm in Barcelona. so I found the connection (5am start in munich - 7:32pm arrival in barcelona) Thanks for you help! I was just I formed by nightjet that Germany will be going on strike from 2000 GMT on Sunday (May 14) until at 2200 GMT on Tuesday (May 16). This is during the window in which we are traveling via train to Germany and then on to the Netherlands. They did not say that our tickets were cancelled, just that I should postpone my travel. Is that the same as canceling my ticket or will they still have limited service and I should continue as planned? As for postponing that is not possible, we are on holiday travel and will need to get back to the Netherlands to catch a flight. How should I proceed?
Using the interrail pass in Switzerland in January and now again in March I must experience that some SBB trains e.g. between Kreuzlingen and Weinfelden, or Weinfelden-Winterthur are not bookable anymore Lines which are marked as valid in the Swiss Interrail map Map of Switzerland_SBB.JPG (1124×795) (interrail.eu) can no longer be booked (and I booked them with my old pass in January): But it worked beforehand, e.g. example from January:and the exactly same train in March:How could this happen and why is there no information about on the page that not all SBB trains are supported anymore or at least a current map of supported trains?
I am travelling on a global pass one month first class fare between England (origin) France and Spain. I am travelling home from south of Barcelona to Newcastle, UK. I am travelling with an assistance dog which make things a little more complicated. I travelled from Barcelona Sants to Latour du Carol on the 14.30 train on Friday 21st April. I had also booked onwards travel to Paris on the night train from Latour du Carol (Pyrénées) to Paris, Fri 21st April, dep. 18.49 arriving 22nd April 06.33. My Eurostar was booked for Paris-London on Sat 22nd at 09.13. At 18.00 SNCF cancelled the night train and I was stranded in Latour du Carol. The staff at Latour were inexperienced and unhelpful and told me to head back to the next town (Puigcerda, 4 mins away by train, but in Spain) and stay the night, getting the train in the morning back to Latour de Carol. This was a bad idea as I arrived in puigcerda and there were no trains in the morning and no one to help. I got a cab back to Latour (€40

Die nächste Interrail-Reise 2025 ist ihm Planung, aber ich habe mich noch nicht entschieden, aber folgende Städte möchte ich mit dem Interrail besuchen:Stockholm-Kopenhagen-Hamburg Budapest-Bratislava-PragWie ist es so mit dem Nachtzug ich gesehen habe es gibt 2 Nachtverbindungen 22.03/23.57 nach Stockholm welche würdet ihr empfehlen und wie sind die Preise Sitzplatzwagen, Liegewagen… was sind eure Erfahrungen… Lohnt sich eher 1./2. Klasse ….Bei Stockholm Kopenhagen Hamburg möchte ich gerne vermeiden, im Herbst Winter zu gehen, da es Schnee hat und kalt ist. Ich habe von vielen gehört mitte Mai Juni soll es recht warm sein was ideal wäre für mich frage ich oder eure Erfahrungen was daher die beste Reisezeit ist?Ich würde 5 Tage in Stockholm, 5 Tage Kopenhagen und 4 Tage Hamburg planen. In Stockholm kann man noch die Insel Djugarden besuchen was gibts sonst noch für Empfehlungen von Kopenhagen Hamburg ich möchte viele Sehens
We’re after a little further help planning our first, and likely last, trip to Europe in April/May, 48 days, flying into Rome and out of London. Because we’re in our mid 60’s, we need fewer stops, longer stays. We’ve purchased a 15-travel-day Eurail pass and already had some incredibly valuable advice from this web site, and we’re just trying to make sure our plan is sensible & we’re not missing something “unmissable”.We love the old architecture of Europe, mountains, lakes, scenery and wildlife, not so much the beach scene. The places on our “must see” list are as follows, listed in the order we are thinking about traveling:Tuscany,Lake Como.The Swiss alps – recommended was the Bernina & Albula railways between Tirano and Chur.Venice.Pordenone – I have family there so it’s 5 nights takenVienna.Zurich.The road from Dijon to the outskirts of Paris, which we hope to drive. Hi I've been looking details every where on when We must use travel day or not to get travel discount in interlaken - first - jungfraujoch. Seems like the infos are confusing. https://benefitsportal.eurail.com/benefits/jungfraubahn/One site tells that we need travel day to get discount. While on the thread of this community said that travel day are no need. Which info is the correct one?Or can it be verified on the interlaken ost Station? Thank you in advance
I have some work in Kongsburg (near Oslo) on 4th July. I’d like to do all the travel by train. I have a family in Utrecht (en route nearly). So this would require leaving home in Welwyn Garden on 2nd July, staying with family in Utrecht and then on 3rd doing the Utrecht to Kongburg larger 2nd half of the journey. Returning on 5th with hopefully everything in reverse. Would buying some kind of pass enable a fare reduction ?

Please suggest? question 2 - not able to see all trains in rail planner app but I can see few trains for April 2025 on EU rail website, why is that so and how soon in advance we can see trains on app? question 3 - not able to see all trains on EU rail website as well but I can see more trains on direct train website , why is that so as these trains are not matching my timings when I need to go as per my plans. question 4 - pass needs to be activated on day of travel as far as I know. To book the journeys, do we need to add all journeys in the app before activating the

I have booked from Paris to Frankfurt on the Ice 10.52am from Paris Est on May 30th. We now have the opportunity to meet some French friends so want to push the time back. I went in to my DB portal to change the time to 13.51pm on TVG and got the message below. Is there ever a problem getting on the train with updated reservation/ticket? I would like to book a trip Paris to London and just need to ensure I understand the rules. I have a Eurail 15 day 1st class pass. The way I understand it is that if I need to re-schedule, then the “Minimum 20 EUR per person exchange fee shall be levied for exchanging reservations in Standard Premier class” Is that right?
