Is a Eurail pass still available in a paper form? I do not want a “Mobile” version of a rail pass as my phone will not work in Europe. I do not want to go to the expense and bother to get a phone that would work or to alter my current phone.

Yes, the Eurail paper pass is still available. If can be bought online to be delivered by registered mail or at major railway stations in some countries in Europe.
