Can't log in to reserve seats
We ordered 2 mobile passes, but cannot log in to reserve seats. It asks for a password reset which we both did but never received an email to reset it. I requested this 5 times. I then tried logging in with FB, it says my name on the top but says I have no active orders. I cannot even cancel because I cannot log in. No phone number to call. Sent an email, to be told I will receive an answer in 48 hours. That was 2 weeks ago. We are beyond frustrated, spending a total of 6 hours going round in circles on the website. I am disgusted with the lack of response. I want a full refund as we cannot use the passes without reserving seats and I cannot log in to do this. Where do I go from here? We are nearly 60 years old, my partner has a broken back but we cannot reserve any seats. I desperately need to resolve this and get my money back. Does anyone even read these messages?
If one person buys for the group can multiple people get the Pass or just the purchaser?
There is a group of 11 us traveling to Europe in late June early July from the U.S. If one person buys for the group can multiple people get the Pass or just the purchaser? Or does each person who wants a pass need to buy their own? We will be traveling Switzerland to Germany then to Great Britain. One member of our group is British
How do I delete empty travel days ?
Hi, I have a problem with my 4 day global pass, because it shows an empty day with no trips as a travel day. Thus, I cannot complete my journey! Help help....The 'empty day' was originally assigned as my first travel day, but I changed that and left earlier. However, I was never able to remove that day - there was no option in my app - and it also did not vanish by itself although I did not travel and had no trips on that day. How can this be changed?
Ticket not generating
I try to add a journey to my trip and it won’t even appear there. When it does, I click the button to add it to my ticket and it says I don’t have a ticket for that day. The QR code won’t generate. I have tried refreshing and deleting and redownloading the app altogether but nothing works.
Global Pass Inbound/outbound trouble
I used one of my inbound/outbound journeys to go from Germany to Amsterdam. On the first train I had no trouble, but on the second one, the ticket inspector told me my pass wasn't valid in Germany and that I had to buy a ticket to the border, which I eventually did because I didn't want to get kicked off the train. But after checking afterwards I realised I was actually in the right. Do you have any tips for me on how to get reimbursed for the extra ticket?
Can't activate mobile pass, travelling on Monday morning
I need to activate my mobile pass on a new device, the phone it was activated on is broken and I can't access it to deactivate my pass. I am travelling on Monday morning and although I have raised this with the service desk, it doesn't seem like I can rely on a response before I begin my journey. Is there any other way to contact Eurail?
Anyone have one travel day showing twice?
Have an ongoing issue raised with interrail for one week and still no solution so wanted to reach out to the community. My first travel day is somehow showing as day 1 and day 2 on my pass screen in the iOS app. I am able to create my full 7 travel days in trip planner, but when I go to the pass page to show the ticket, it cannot view the 7th day as it is showing day 6 as day 7 (due to showing day 1 as both day 1 and 2). Has any had this issue or have any ideas how to solve it? Currently travelling but seemingly not receiving a prioritised fix. Based on the sheer volume of issues on this forum, it seems the app is not really fit for purpose. thanks in advance!
Inbound night train problem
Hi,I have a problem with a night train from sweden back to my residence country germany. When using the night train from Malmo C to Hamburg the mobile pass uses my last inbound travel day on the 18th april but i need it on the 19th april to get back home. The workaround i have found here does not work because the last stop of the train is in Denmark before midnight. Border crossing to germany should be around 3:00am.Does anyone have an idea how to use it correctly in the app to have a valid ticket?
Pass cover number is not accepted
Hey, im corrently connecting my papir interrail pass to the “my trip” section, however its seems not to accept my Pass Cover Number. I know i have typed the correct number serveral times, but it doesn’t seem to work. I have tried with both capital I and lowercase i but i does not work.My girlfriend are experiencing the same problem. What to do? My trip starts 1/7-2022
My trip lost connection to the pass on the fifth travel day
After installing 23.0.1 my trip has been without problem until today, the fifth travel day. Suddenly my trip was no longer connected to a pass. I added it again, but then the trip connected was blank and without journeys. My old trip, with the passed and remaining journeys was unconnected.I have managed to add the journeys I am on right now to the new trip. But how do I get the old trip connected again?
Need help reactivating pass urgently!
Hi, Yesterday I encountered an error with activating travel days, which resulted in me having to reinstall the rail planner app.Now I find myself in a situation where I require help reactivating my pass, as I need to go home (to Denmark from the Netherlands) in a few days.I have already contacted support but fear that my pass won't be reactivated in time resulting in me being stuck here..
Why can't I book 3 journeys in Germany?
Hi, I like to travel on my first day from Stuttgart to Frankfurt, on the next day from Frankfurt to London. On another date I go back from London to Stuttgart. But it doesn't work. The comment I got s "You've used all your outbound/inbound journeys". What's the problem here?Thanks for help,Stefanie
Hi. i have bought a 5 days pass for me and my boyfriend for last autumn. We couldnt go so we planned on going this summer. But it seems that the 11 months period is expiring before july (when we planned to go). I also unfortunately already actived my pass because i was panicking and i didnt really know how to use the pass correctly. Can i get a refund or its possible to push the start date a month ahead? sadly i couldnt get to anyone for the custumer service for the past 2 weeks hopefully anyone can help me :(
Hello, I’ve purchased my global pass, but then I went on to activate my pass on the application and on the last step (the third step) of the activation after you entered your first travel date, but it said “something went wrong” and I can’t process through. I contacted the eurail email&in-app service for almost 48 hour already but I still haven’t got any response. What can I do because I have to book my train for my upcoming trip? Thank you very much.
Seat reservations in Spain
Hi. I searched for journeys in Spain and it doesn’t leave me book seat reservations on them. Then when I click to see the option of more information it says that I can book them on the main station on Spain. And what about if I try to book them there and there is no more space in the train?
First travel day after 28th birthday on Youth pass
I have read all the posts about this topic, but the rules are still not 100% clear for me.I have a Youth mobile pass and turn 28 on May 8th and need to activate it by May 7th when I am still 27 years old.The question is, can my first travel day be on May 8th or later (within the 30 days validity of course)? The rules says that the pass must be valid (activated) before I turn 28, not that I have to use the first travel date before I turn 28. Right?
How much days should I use when traveling Lisbon > Prague > Warsaw > Lisbon
Hi. I'll make a big travel with some friend this August.We're planning going from Lisbon to Prague, stay there a few days, then go to Warsaw, stay there a few days and finally come back to Lisbon.The map planner is recommending me 4 days, but in Google Maps the travel from Lisbon to Prague takes more than one day and the travel from Warsaw to Lisbon is the same.We are on a budget, that's why I'm still considering adding another day.Also, can we add another day on the go, if necessary? Cancel outbound/inbound journey on same day
Hello, I bought the global Pass and now I have a big problem, please help me! Actually, I had planned to start my journey today. (Bremen - Barcelona) However, I got a message from one of the train companies that the train leaves at a different time than the one shown in the Interrail app. This would mean that I won't be able to catch all the connecting trains. Therefore, I had to reschedule my trip and I will now start my journey tomorrow (16.04.22) at night. Now I can no longer deactivate my outbound/inbound journey today, although I will not be travelling at all today. However, I still need this outbound/inbound for coming home at the end of the holiday.Please help me delete today's travel day, this is just not fair. I am grateful for any help!Thank you very much!
Left over days global pass
Hi, I have an interrail global pass "10 days in 2 months". On my trip I have now only 8/10 days planned. Stayed longer in one place. Now my question: How can I use my two open days. Germany is my residence. Outbound is already included in my 8 days.A to drive from Germany to Poland & back? B make two travel days/trips within Germany C or I can only drive abroad. For example: Buy a ticket from GER to PL and then travel two days in PL with the Global Pass. Buy a ticket for the journey home. thank you for your help
