Hi! I bought a global pass for 7 travel days in 1 month but later realized I only needed 5 days. I bought the second one and requested the exchange (refund of the first one). The confirmation email stated I would hear back in 48 hrs. I didn’t hear from them and for the past week I’ve emailed several times and even chatted and messaged through Facebook. I don’t know how else to contact them. Both passes are unused and not yet activated. I purchased the plus feature to make them 100% refundable. Requesting refund for the original 7 day global pass EU30412802. Would like to keep the 5 day pass. Please help. Maria
Mobile pass - When I add it to the rail planner app will it automatically activate or will I have to do this myself?
I’ve just bought my mobile pass. When I add it to the rail planner app will it automatically activate or will I have to do this myself? Does the 11 month time period that I can use the pass still count once I’ve added it to the app (without activating it)? Do I have to activate it days/weeks before I plan to travel or when I’m boarding the train and will this date have to be put in when i add the pass to the app. Thanks!
I am planning to travel from Leeds (UK) to Paris on my first day.(Using a ‘Global’ 7 day pass) This would involve a train from Leeds to London then Eurostar from London to Paris. Does all this count as a single ‘Outbound’ journey or would it be classed as two separate journeys ?Thanks
I am non-EU Citizen but currently i am living in germany for Study (i am under 27 years old). I am going to travel together with my family from south east asia to germany, I saw the ticket today, Eurail global pass is even cheaper than the interrail global pass. Therefore, can i buy Eurail-pass instead Interrail pass?
Hi,Now I’m making reservations for seats in the TGV.In the “Delivery Method”, I have to fill in “erail pass cover number” but I don’t know where I can find it because I bought the erail pass via the Rail Planner app. I can find the pass reference only in the app.So, I can’t proceed any further. Hi, me and my wife are planning to go to Europe this May. If for example I bought a 5 day Eurail Global Pass for a month and I went to London from Paris using eurostar in the morning and went back to Paris from London in late afternoon, would that only count for 1 day? Meaning I still have 4 day eurail pass left? Thank you.

Hiii, 🤗curious Designer here. This might come across weird, but I am currently studying UX Design/ App Design in Germany and we are doing a fictional redesign of the Interrail App. Right now we are doing some research and we are also analysing the app in great detail. But unfortunately a big part in the app is missing, it’s the ‘My Pass’ site on the app. We have no ticket or pass to see what it’s like. If anyone wants to help, you’d do my team and me a great favour if you could send screenshots of what the pass actually looks like and what you can do with it. PLEASE censor your personal information like your ID number, full name etc. We are just interested in how its structured and which main functions and sub-functions this site has. Hi fellow travellers! I’m going to Spain and France soon with a Mobiles Pass and I’m interested to hear if you had a good experience. Did it work for you? I’ve only used paper until now so I want to make sure Mobile works in those countries.I know paper reservations are needed, but the pass itself - did you find that it was widely accepted on trains and ticket offices? Just worried staff may not be familiar with mobile yet.Thanks!
Hello, my name is Arthur Stephan, I'm french, and I won this year the interrail pass. But I have a problem concerning the authentification of my identity card and passeport. Indeed, both of my ID card and passeport are expired. So I cannot complete my inscription. On the other hand, I have requested few months ago to update my ID card and passeport, but my appointement is after the deadline of the 10th of april.So I come to you to know what should I do, if I have to request a document that proove that I did the request for my ID card and passeport. To justify that I am wiating for them. Thank you for your time and I hope you will understand my issue.
So I just bought an interrail pass for my wife and I. I am from the United States with a US Passport and my wife is from Argentina with an Argentinian passport. We currently live in Montenegro on tourist visas since our Residence has not been accepted yet. Will we have any problems using the interrail pass? Should we have bought a Eurorail pass? And if so, is there a way we can change it?
So I just bought the global pass and have started to make my first bookings and need a few step by step instructions to ger me started.So I bought 4 passes for me and my family and intend to put 2 passes on my phone and 2 on my wifes. Firstly, how do I plan the trip on the mobile pass for 4 of us, then move 2 passes to my wifes phone? Can this be done before activating? Once I add trips to the mobile pass is it then activated or not?Also I made my first reservation for a nightjet. This reservation will be towards the end of our trip so does it matter which order it is added to the pass?When making this nightjet booking on the obb site the confirmation said if I take the pdf ticket now it invalidates the cancellation policy and so to get the ticket at the station.I thought that the ticket, when added to the mobile pass would mean that I didn't need paper tickets? Have I got this wrong?Tia
My App is completely stuffing up!!! Firstly, I am unable to view all my Saved Journey’s in My Trip. Sometimes I will save a journey, and then when I go to view it, it is not there!!Secondly, when I try to book a journey and add it to My Pass, it will add it initially, then later when I check it has completely disappeared!! I am using a Flexi Pass, and it is almost impossible to add 2 journeys to one travel day, as either one of the journey’s always keeps disappearing. This is very very frustrating as I don’t have a valid ticket for the trains I need to catch TOMORROW!!!! I need help ASAP, I will be unable to travel tomorrow if this is not fixed URGENTLY.
Wenn you buy multiple mobile passes, then you'll receive a confirmation mail with a list like this:Traveller name Pass numberMax Mustermann ABC123Erika Mustermann XYZ789However, wenn you order multiple passes for the same person, and these passes are different, then there doesn't seem to be a way to know which pass number corresponds with which pass.However, I would like to know which pass I'm going to activate. So I propose to add 1 column to this table, with the type of pass. E.g. "Global 5 days within 1 month” or "France 5 days within 1 month”.
I live in the US, am over 70 years old, and will travel to Europe later this year. I love trains and was thinking of buying a Eurrail pass while still in the US but I recently read in a Lonely Planet travel book that if one doesn’t travel by rail VERY FREQUENTLY, then it’s not worth buying a Eurrail pass. You see, I might stay in some city - say Paris or London - for more than 1 week. If I did that, then I’d lose money if I bought and used a Eurrail pass. Correct?? How often does one have to use the Eurrail pass in order to not lose money? Is using a Eurrail pass every few days best in order to get one’s money worth for the purchase of it?
Is the extra £19 ‘free cancellation’ when booking an interrail pass necessary? If I didn’t get this could I still use the ticket within 11months of buying it or is that only possible when paying the extra fee. If I OPT for the paper ticket instead does the extra £10 cover a refund (if needed)?
Hi, I’m a first time user and am having problems with the mobile app.I add the first three trains to ‘My Trip’.They appear as a list - so far so good.However if I close the app and come back to it later -When I press ‘My Trip’ only one of the previously entered trains appears.Press ‘My Trip’ again and a different random train from the previously entered trains appears.I can’t get the whole list to appear.This has a knock on effect when I try adding the trains to ‘My Pass’Only one random train appears on the ticket!Has anyone else had this problem - am I doing something wrong?Using iPhone X, software 15.4, Interrail app version 23.0.0Many thanks
