Good Morning,I’m Lorenzo and I’m Italian… I’ve never traveled with Interrail and It miss me too much…Next summer I’d like to do some Interrail among the Greek Islands, but I’m still far to understand how the one country pass works…In particular I can’t understand if the 1st Class of the Greek Islands Pass “6days within 1month” may cover the trip between Italy and Greece for an Italian traveler.Thansk in advance.Lorenzo
Study Abroad student for 3 month in Germany. Should I buy pass?
I was wondering if anyone had recommendations about whether students studying abroad, (American) should buy the 3 month Eurail global pass. Would this allow me to travel unlimitedly within regional areas of Germany as well. Are there any limits to Eurail's global passes? Thanks!
Cannot add trip to the pass despite the valid date
I successfully activated my pass and made the reservation in the website. My valid date is 12 Feb to 11 May 2023. However, when I click at the QR to add the journey to my pass, it said "your pass isn't valid on this date." This happens at both my trip on 12 Feb and 15 Feb. There is no deactivation button for me as well. I tried deleting the app and reloading it, but it didn't work. Could you please help me because I have to travel real soon. Thank you so much.

Hi,A close relative passed away recently in Germany and I am planning to attend the funeral. I live in the South of England. Intending to leave on the England Thursday 23rd Feb, funeral 24th, and return to England Saturday 25th of Feb with the route High Wycombe => London ==> Brussels ==> Frankfurt ==> Fulde.Its for the funeral only, so wouldn’t have chance to go anywhere elseI will need a Eurail pass (because I live in the UK) but can someone advise please, what Eurail pass would I need for the (hopefully 3 day round trip) ?I will need to reserve a seat on Eurostar (hopefully I still can) would it be sensible to get a reserve any other parts of the journeyGreat to get you thoughts !Thanks in advance
Non reservation ticket tariff applciable to given service
Hi All, I’m looking at the eurail planner app to check out some potential trips. When I click on a train time and click on show facilities. I can see a dot point NRT tariff is applicable for given service (non reservation ticket). Does anyone know if I have a global euro pass does this mean I need to pay additional fee? Please see below as an example.
Holding two different passes at once?
Hello. In the fall i purchased the month pass which needs to be unlocked as of May 1st, and i plan on using starting on April 27th. I will be doing more travelling prior to this and realized that I would like to purchase the 7 day one month pass because at that point I would not like to unlock my month pass yet. Is it possible to hold two passes at once?

Hello,I am preparing for my first trip from Netherlands tot Firenze Italy.I have bought a pass, activated the pas, set my trip...made reservations for the trip where this was nesssecary.I have only a mobile pass.Ik want to know:do I need to have a paper pass? I travel in the countries : Netherlands - Germany - Switzerland- Italy can i also see on which track in de station my train will be standing?
Hi all,Recently I bought and received a paper global pass for 7 days in 1 month. You can connect your paper pass in the app and choose to record your trips in either one. My question is as follows: if I wanted to register them in both at the same time, would that be a problem? I like the paper pass as a memento for later, but the app is also very practical. If I would record a trip in the app, but also on my paper pass, would that be wrong?
Seat reservation not working
Hi thereI am trying since weeks to make a reservationfrom Nimes to Barcelona (TGV 9713 on March 24th) from Barcelona to Montpellier (TGV 9708 on March 27th) from Montpellier to Mulhouse (TGV 2204 on March 27th)I get always the same error message at the end of the checkout process: “Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later or find another connection. This connection will be removed from your cart.”
About Eurail Global Pass 2nd Class upgrade
Hi,I purchased a Eurail Global Pass (2nd class).Is it possible to upgrade my ride from 2nd class to 1st class for one of my rides (Zurich to Vienna)?This is because the ride is 7hours+ long and I thought if there is a way to upgrade the ticket to 1st class for just one train ride it will be nice. Travel in own country
The Interrail website states: “if you have an Interrail Global Pass, you can travel on one travel day to leave your country of residence (outbound) and on one travel day to return (inbound)”, ie “can” not “must”.I live in the UK. I have a pass for 4 days travel in a month. I have started my trip in Austria, ie I do not intend to use an outward journey from the UK as a travel day. The pass now tells me that I only have 2/4 travel days left. Does that mean I have lost one of my travel days, because I have not started my trip from home? If so, the website is unclear and misleading.I hope someone can help!John
Start date of Eurail pass
I just purchased a 10 day 2 month global pass. i want to now book eurostar which happens to be at the end of my 2 months eurail pass 20 June. Can I go and book this and not activate the pass, as I will commence travel 2 months prior (21 April) to the eurostar booking. Gosh this is all so confusing
How to cancel a TEST seat reservation on GWR?
Hello everyone, just now I was trying to book seat reservation for a train from London to Edinburgh in July. The system didn’t show any availability because July is still too far away. So I tested with an earlier date just to see how the reservation system works. I put in a random date and followed the steps by selecting a random train and a random seat type. (I didn’t really understand the differences among all the seat types) Then I clicked continue, the next thing it shows my booking is completed, and it also says on the page “you can’t amend or refund this booking”. I couldn’t find any options to cancel or delete this order as it was only for a test. Does anyone know what I can do in this situation?Thank you in advance.🙏
Move an active pass to another device
Looking at my active pass, I see the above menu option enabling me to move my pass to another device. Is this new?Can I now switch devices myself without issues, even if the pass is active? Or is this a bug?The FAQ still very clearly states this is not possible. Not that I need to do so, but I'm confused by the option.
Traveling to a destination that is not served by a nighttrain - does it count as 1 or 2 travel days?
I would like to travel from the Netherlands to Bologna. There are many possible routes. But if I for example travel from the Netherlands to Basel using a nighttrain and then take the train from Basel to Bologna with a transfer in Milano. Does this count as 1 day? Or 2 days? I guess that if stopped my journey in Milano it would count as 1 day, but if I then take a train from Milano to Bologna, it could count as 2 days (although it is within 24 hours). Can anybody help me? Many thanks in advance.
