Stations in Eastern European cities - missing from the Planner

Badge

The planner in the App doesn’t seem to show stations in Sarajevo. Riga and other Eastern European cities. Does anyone know why this is ? I have a continuous global pass. Cheers

Because they doesn´t load their timetable to the “timetable centre” from where the Railplanner get´s the timetables.

You have to look on local websites or local apps to find connections

From Sarajevo goes a direct trains to Mostar or via Banja Luka to Bihac. No International trains into/out of Bosnia :/

Remember that very basic 1st lesson in IT: you can only get OUT what someone has ever bothered to put IN? Every railway maintains (to a certain degree-some do not even care too much about that-certainly in those regions) its own site and then also has to send data from it to several general other sites-or these have to retract it.

Its always best for last minute data to try to use site of railway cncerened

Also note that a pas will be of very little use in these countries. Very few trains and very low price for local tix

@seewulf there are no trains from Sarajevo to Bihac/Banja Luka. Officially due to COVID-19, unofficial because of political reasons in the RS and the FBIH.

You can go from Sarajevo with modern Talgo Trains till Čapljina (in summer till Ploče) in the south, and in the north you can get till Maglaj near the Border with the RS. There are a few regional trains in the area of Sarajevo and two daily local trains till Zenica.

The ŽRS offers only local trains from Banja Luka to Novi Grad/Dobrljin near the Croatian Border, from Banja Luka to Doboj near the Inter-Entity-Border with the Federation, and from Doboj to Petrovo Novo (also near the Border with the FBIH)
