Two trains in others countries - flight in between. Is it necessary to have train connections between every country?

Hi! I’m going to take a train to Berlin. After that i’m taking a plane from Berlin to Belgium (my home country). After that i’m taking a train from Belgium to Torino in Italy. Is this possible? Or is it necessary to have train connections between every country?
