Ein Länder Pass Italien

Hallo Zusammen Ich habe mich entschieden vom 22.8-29.8.2024 ein Ein Länder Pass (Italien 3 Tage 1 Monat zu kaufen. Ich möchte gerne die Städte Rom und Florenz besuchen. Daher habe ich einige Fragen:Ich werde 3 Tage in Rom, 3 Tage in Florenz verbringen reicht das um die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu sehen oder habt ihr welche Tipps die ihr noch empfehlen würdet? Mein Start ist von Luzern dann nach Rom von Rom dann nach Florenz und dann von Florenz zurück nach Luzern daher reicht der 3 Tage in 1 Monat Pass? Auf der Raileurope, Interrail Sitzplatzreservierung kann man noch nicht buchen daher muss ich mich noch ein wennig gedulden da die Italienische Bahn den Fahrplan recht spät öffnet, daher meine Frage die Strecke Roma nach Florenz gäbe es ein Regionalzug lohnt sich der oder soll ich lieber mit dem FR Zug nehmen?

Boden C connection from Stockholm to Haparanda

On February 20th I will travel from Stockholm to Haparanda on the way to Rovaniemi. We are concerned that the Boden connection is only 11 minutes. Every day for the last 2 weeks the train from Stockholm has arrived late in Boden. Also today /13 minutes/ My question is, does the train to Haparanda wait for the arrival of the train from Stockholm and possibly until how many minutes late is the connection to Haparanda provided?

Booking in-App for ferry with 4-days greek islands pass

Hello! I have a 4-days greek island pass, I already registered in the App. I booked 3 ferry trips through the Blue Star Ferries website and they have sent me the Reservation Number and Access Codes for each trip. How can I enter this data in the App?My first trip is on September 2, from Athens to Naxos, and I can't find that route in "My Trip" of the App, although I know it exists and the pass was validated in the reservation.Thanks for the help!

Outbound/Inbound clarification

Hi, Im planning to interrail this summer. Im from the UK, looking to go: Belgium, norway, germany, austria and switzerland.I just want to clarify if I will need the 7day pass ( to include going from london to belgium , then from switzerland to london) or if the 5day pass will be fine ( as in, will my outbound and inbound journeys included in the ticket?) Also, the trip will be in the summer. Have far in advance would you recommend making train seat reservations?  thanks :)

Best Train Pass for My Itinerary

Am i entitled to compensation for delayed train

I got the 19:10 CFR train from Budapest to bucharest supposed to be arrive 11:19 local time. It's now 15:40 and will probably be arriving within the hour. That's a delay of around 5 hours and with no explanation why. We left on time and as we went on progressively became more and more behind schedule.

Need Opinions For Our Holiday - First time taking the trains in Europe

Hi!My friends and I are traveling to Europe and plan on flying into Paris, taking a train to the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and then back to Paris.  What is the best way to go about this? I’ve been to Europe but never taken the train except inside just the countries alone. Where are the Eurail train stations, is there a better railroad to use, or how do these passes work? About how long would they take to each country, or is it maybe better to rent a car for the more cheaper option? How many travel days should I choose? Any feedback would be great and appreciated!  We are only in Europe for 13 days so planning on staying in each country around 3 days. We also have luggage, so is there a limit of what you can bring on the train too. Thank you!

Worrying so much with horror stories of app, I’m greatly considering changing to paper ticket for trip in July with teenage daughters. I’m finding it all very confusing.Thoughts on changing please? many thanks , Melanie

Good morning,I have just purchased a 7-day global pass for a month for the first time and I have a quick question. We planned the following trip:Paris → Wien (3 August : day of travel)Wien → Praha (4 August : day of travel)Praha → Krakow (7 August : day of travel)krakow → Bratislava (8 August : day of travel)Bratislava → Budapest (8 August)Budapest → Ljubljana (10 August : day of travel)Ljubljana → Lesce Bled (11 August : day of travel)Lesce bled → Wien (12 August : day of travel)Wien → Paris   (12 August)in total, we have 7 days of travel, are we allowed to return with a night train? (knowing that our pass is valid for the entire month of August)What is an outbound or inbound journey? Sleeper train from Budapest to Prague

One of my goals in Europe is to ride a Sleeper train. I booked the EN 476 from Budapest to Prague.The lady I booked it with at the train station told me the reservation I made was for a bed (rather than a seat), but I want to verify because there was a language barrier and the reservation was so cheap -- only 10€. For context, I have Eurail first class.Attached a picture of the ticket below.

When i try to book ticket from Paris to nice on May 26th i getting one of the legs of your journey could not be booked in last page . Tried almost all the trains on that day but still getting same issue.

Help! Quick Journey... Swiss Alps by train, Paris and London in 10 days. Is it possible?

Hello community! I’m from Chile and this is going to be my first time in Europe, just a few days, but I was wondering if it’s possible to go by this train system from Milan to Switzerland passing through  the wonderful  Swiss Alps. I’m very interested in seeing the beautiful villages, Landwasser Viaduct among other incredible places. I’m traveling last week of March, maybe I have a litlle time to go to Paris or even London, but I also don’t know if going by train is the best alternative.I hope someone could help me, I’m a bit confused. ¡Saludos desde Santiago!

Unable to reserve seats on ICE 315 from Bruxelles-Nord to Koeln HBF - "Sorry, something went wrong"

Hi,I’m trying to reserve 4 seats on ICE 315 from Bruxelles-Nord to Koeln HBF on Saturday July 13, 2024, departing at 12:34pm. When I go through the seat reservation process on the eurail website, add the seat reservations to my cart, I run into an error at the “Review your order” stage:“One of the legs of your journey could not be booked.”and“Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later or find another connection. This connection will be removed from your cart.” I’ve tried this with both Safari and Chrome and run into the same error each time. I’m wondering if this is likely just a temporary website glitch, or if this way is not going to work for these trains?Thanks!

Paris Airport to Basel?

Hello!I am new to this forum and new to the European Rail System. I will be traveling with my husband and son to Europe in June for a month. I will have plenty of questions to come, but my first is this.  We have purchased Global Passes 1st class.  We arrive in Paris at 6:10am and need to go straight to Basel the same day.  When I look on the Rail Planner app, I cannot seem to find a train departing from Charles de Gaulle 2 - TGV, which as far as I can tell is where we need to leave from. Can anyone advise me if there is a train that will take us from the airport to Basel?Thanks so much for any help!Meghan

Hi all,We are planning a 22 days trip to Europe (16 days)  & Switzerland (6 days) in November starting from Frankfurt and ending in Switzerland. We plan to cover Frankfurt (day trip to Heidelberg) > Dresden > Prague > Budapest > Bratislava > Vienna > Salzburg (day trip to Hallstatt) > Munich > Innsbruck > Lucerne (might go to Mt. Rigi or Titlis) > Interlaken (day trips to Lauterbrunnen, Jungfraujoch, Grindelwald) > Zurich (day trip to Rhine Falls). Should we get both Eurail Global Pass & Swiss Pass?

How to change Mobile global pass to Paper pass

I don’t like reviews of Rail planner app and it not easy to use. I can’t make reservations and it is hard to find the train schedule( no anytime exist, must enter specific time and always not available)I want to change my mobile global pass to paper pass and get reservations at the station. I just bought it with promotion (25%discount)and also bought a Plus to insure.Thank you in advance

Refund request doesn't show

Hello guys,so I requested a refund for my pass last week and the interrail page said it would be checked if my pass is eligible for refund (which it definitely is). I know that it takes time until these things get checked and verified but I find it strange that I can’t see any indication of my refund request anywhere in my account. Is that normal? Anyone has any experience with how the refund works and how long it takes?

Your advice on my Swiss Trip.

Hello Community,I will be traveling to Switzerland this March for 5 days enroute to London. My aged mother will be accompanying me and so I want to plan and understand things well. I am looking to go to some picturesque place in Nature, away from the city, to spend 3-4 days in the Swiss countryside.Q : What place would you recommend which fits the above criteria?For now I am thinking of - Day 1 - Arrival at ZurichDay 1 - Travel from Zurich to GrindelwaldDay 2 - Grindelwald exploring Day 3 - Travel to Interlaken Day 4 - GrindelwaldDay 5 - Travel to Zurich and departure to LondonThe above includes train travel to Grindelwald and back to Zurich, and also local travel between Interlaken and boat rides. Q: Given the above, should I buy individual tickets for everything?Would it be better option to opt for Swiss Pass (3 days flexi)Would a Eurail global pass be a better option; and will it permit me to travel from Zurich to London by train?Any advice on the above will be gratefully received.G

Train from Switzerland to Italy reservation must be printed?

I will be traveling from Switzerland to Italy on a EuroCity train soon. I read somewhere that in Italy you need printed tickets for cross border journeys. I have a mobile Eurail pass. Since I have a mobile pass and have printed my seat reservations, will this be ok? Or do I need to print and validate something else?

I have a first class global pass. I use interrail for the first time. When I want to use a nighttrain (euronight or IC) sometimes it seems that there's no first class, so I have to make a reservation for second class. Does anybody know how to handle? I can't find this in information. Thanks.

I have added more than one journey to my Trip for the day and I want to wait until I arrive at the train station to decide which train journey to take and there is no internet (WIFI) access available at the station. Can I add a journey to my Pass without internet access?

Suiza Bernina Express

Good afternoon, my husband and I are about to travel to Switzerland in November with the Eurail Pass. It will be 4 nights, three and a half days (including the day of arrival). But I have a lot of doubts because I can't understand the Bernina website, among other things…. We will stay in Zurich. My intention was to take a day trip back to Bern and go to Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen, and on the last day take the Bernina Express to Tirano (with luggage) and continue to Milan. It's viable? Would it be the best alternative? Would it be possible to take another scenic tour besides the Bernina Express? Can I make reservations now? How do I make reservations and pay for seats?! Anyone who can help me, give me tips, I would be super grateful!!!!
