Hi!I am trying to book the Nightjet to Zagreb (from Germany, any city will do..) but all the options I had for possible dates on ÖBB are not available? (yes I do know ho to book..)Is there a connection problem or is everything booked? I saw one option a few days ago (via the interrail site) and it offered a booking with a paper ticket? Is it possible to book this paper ticket directly (guess paper is not öbb?) We are travelling from the Netherlands, is there another (logical) option than Germany?
I will hopefully travelling from the UK to Spain over summer, one way (flying home). I am buying a 4 day pass as it will take 3 days to get there. I will need to get a train down to Euston from Manchester and then the Eurostar from St Pancras. To get out of the UK, will the pass cover the Manchester to Euston leg AND the St Pancras to Paris leg or just the St Pancras to Paris leg?many thanks
Hi all, I was wondering how it works when I want to travel on a train for which I cannot book a seat though I am entailed to travel with. There is this EC from Bern to Domodossola which is covered by the Interrail pass but the Swiss railways do not allow for seat reservation. How does it work in such a case? Do I show up at the platform trying to board the train? What if the train is full? Is my trip guaranteed? Thanks to anybody who would be able to answer. Emanuele
I am coming to Europe in June-July with a family of 4 (including 2 kids (6 & 8 years)) and would mainly be visiting France (Paris only), Switzerland, Italy (Rome & Florence), Germany (Munich), Belgium (Brussels, Antwerp), and Denmark (Copenhagen).I am planning to get a Eurail Global Pass for 15 days for inter-country & sometimes intra-country travel (especially Switzerland). So far, I am not buying any other Travel Passes and may just purchase Paris Metro 5 days pass and individual transport passes in other countries as per requirement.I had a few questions, to which I am unable to find specific answers to:I know that when Eurail Planning App tells ‘Seat Reservations Required’, I will compulsorily have to purchase individual seats. What about when it tells ‘Seat Reservation Recommended’? Can I take a chance by not buying individual seats? What is the recommended / manageable time for changing trains on my route? I bought the pass through another site.I'm currently traveling and would like to make a reservation for a train, but the app doesn't display the reservation button.That's why I want to book through the website instead of the app.However, web reservations require me to have a pass and be logged into my account.So I just created a new account.However, I don't know how to link the newly created account with the pass I purchased on another site and have already started using.How can I connect in this case? Also, how can I make a reservation for the train? I'm sorry if it's hard to read because it was written mainly using a translation app.
Confused about the use of trips. I have a 2 month pass and have created a trip which I intend to share with my wife. However, I intend to make another shorter trip independently; the app has a + feature for multiple trips, but will not allow me to connect the new trip to my pass ( only option is connect to paper pass?). What is going on? Can I create and connect multiple trips in app or not?
I want to go from hamburg altona to copenhagen on 21st july (seat reservation required on interrail website).On interrail website seat reservations are not possible to make because of errors so i tried on DB website but i saw this type of error on db site:booking via www.bahn.de is not available for this connection. This is most often the case when it comes to regional trains, short distance trains or trains with a reservation obligation
Help for a newbie please :) I am trying to book reservations for our upcoming trip and have got to the 'Place of issue - city' box on the interrail reservation system. On my passport, this is listed as IPS, and my partners says HMPO. I understand this is standard on UK passports. Should we enter this despite it not being a city, or try and find out which office issued them?
Hi everyone, I’ve searched through the interrail website and forums, but am a little confused about how to make this work.It seems like when you activate a pass, you can only use it for a single trip? But you can make additions to that trip once it’s been activated??Here is my situation - I have a 2 month/15day pass, that I haven’t activated yet. I’m planning to travel around for a week in April (Spain and France), return home to London for a month, and then head back out around Germany/Hungary etc. to complete the rest of my pass. For planning purposes, I’ve been considering these as two seperate trips. I’m nearly done planning my route for the Spain/France trip, but hadn’t started thinking about the later one just yet. I was expecting to plan that once I returned from the first ‘leg’.Once I activate the pass for travelling in Spain, I’m concerned I won’t be able to then add the 2nd part of my trip later, even though the pass will still be valid and in-date. Hallo, ich verstehe das Inbound und Outbound immernoch nicht. Ich habe noch 2 Tage guthaben und kann noch 1 outbound und ein inbound machen. Kann ich beim inbound im Heimatland fahren soviel ich will, wenn ich dazu einen Tag hernehme? Also mein Nachtzug kommt ja nicht in meiner Heimatstadt an sodass ich noch einen weiteren Zug nehmen muss um nach Hause zu kommen.Geht das? Bitte nur Ja oder Nein antworten.
I recently bought 8 passes in 2 separate orders and I have 2 trips in my account in the interrail.eu website (that were created automatically). (I am NOT using the Rail Planner app) What I want is to merge those 2 trips into 1 so that I can have all 8 travelers in one trip.I tried to do that by adding travelers to one of the trips, but I always get the error “Your Pass cover number doesn't look right”. I have tried there the pass cover number I see on the back of my pass cover, which starts “I” followed by 8 digits. I also tried the order number that starts with “IN”. Both have failed with the same error.My question is: How can I add all the travelers to 1 trip in your website?Can it be that 1 traveler can only be in one trip? For solving this I tried deleting one of the trips but the website does not let me do that :( Can someone help me achieve what I need? Thank you in advance.
Hi, my parents will visit me in UK soon, and we planned some Europe trips together. They got Chinese passport, with UK C type visit short stay visa validate for 2 years, with each stay no more than 6 month. Will they be considered as temporary residents in UK? And be able to purchase the interrail pass? Thanks!
Hi, I've been traveling in Europe for about 2 weeks now with a 3 Months Eurail global mobile pass, everything worked fine until last night. I was trying to search for a journey in the rail plannner, but after entering the stations the app keeps getting stuck loading loading the schedule. I am thus currently unable to add any trips or obtain the ticket QR-code. I've tried the following: (a) Using the app both online and offline, both with and without location services enabled(b) force stop the app and clear the cache( c) restart the device(d) Searching for the train journeys under “stations" (this wont even attempt to load anything). All of this produces the same error. My next step would be to clear the app data and/or reinstall the app, but as far as I understand this will remove the pass from the phone entirely. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I would also have no problem adding my journeys manually, but I haven't found any way to do this without the schedule loading. I'v
We have global flexi passes. 4 days in 1 month. We will use 2 days to get to our destination and 1 day to get home. These are planned and saved in My Trip and added to My Pass (mobile) but not activated. We would like to use the remaining day for a trip out from our destination. We know the route of the journey but have not chosen the day. FAQ says Can I switch or cancel a travel day?You can cancel your travel day any time before the start of that day (00:00 CET). Go to My Pass, choose the travel day you want to cancel and tap ‘Cancel travel day’.But does not say how to change the travel day.
Bonjour, J’ai commandé un pass interrail et je ne comprends pas pourquoi je ne peux pas déjà réserver mes billets de train. Je comptais partir début juillet mais les billets ne sont pas encore réservable. De plus je souhaite faire un trajet Paris-Prague en interail et on nous indique un message d’erreur pour l’un des trains que nous devrions prendre. Cela veut-il dire que ce train ne sera pas possible d’être réservé même plus tard ? Car j’ai mis le même trajet pour une date ou les billet sont déjà censé pouvoir être réservé, mais le même message apparait. Merci.
Our family of four was so excited about our upcoming trip to UK next week. It is our first time to visit the country and friends here. However, planning this trip is far more difficult than what we have imagined. We bought the global pass saved all the journeys to the app. Unfortunately, we learned that the strikes will affect our train schedule.We will arrive Heathrow terminal 3 on 20 July at 6pm and want to take a train to Cambridge directly. We would like to knowhow long does it normally takes to get through the custom and security at Heathrow? Will there be any train from airport to Cambridge on the night of 20 July?We planned to go to Birmingham to Cambridge on 22 July. There is only a few trains on the National Rail available. Since we cannot book or reserved these trains via global pass. We are afraid that all the seats will be sold out .We have booked hotels in Cambridge and Birmingham and hope to follow our original plan as far as possible.Hope to hear your advice.
I bought 4 days eurail pass and this is my first trip to Europe. When I am trying to reserve seat from Paris to Geneva, it says around £102 for 2 kids and 2 adults. But if I check other website then tickets are cheaper for same route and same train. What is the benefit of eurail pass if reservation takes more money than normal ticket.
Hi,We bought the 7 day pass on a bit of a whim and are now thinking over logistics. Considering possible taking it down to a 4 day trip instead with us paying some tickets ourselves We are travelling with an 8 and 10 year old and coming from Glasgow. My initial idea was Glasgow - London - Paris on day one but it’s going to be quite a long day so I’m trying to think of alternatives but not sure I can or if I’m picking up the pass rules correctly. I’ve put in bold the days I’m questioning:Idea 1 - reducing down to 4 day pass:Day 1: Glasgow to London and stop over for a night Get the Eurostar (we would pay the Eurostar trip as it’s not much more than the seat reservations would be anyway). I am trying to book a ticket to go from Berlin Hbf to Berclav on June 24, 2023 at 18:52 with the global interrail pass. It lets me activate the ticket but not reserve a seat. It tells me that there are no seats available, but that with every day. I have searched several different websites that also offer this train but it still doesn't work. The train is the one in the title. If anyone can help me or tell me how I can do it or alternatives (which I have not found either) it would be a great favor. Thanks
Hi everyone ! I want to make a seat reservation with my France-Germany pass. When I am not connected with my e-mail adress, the site shows that seats are available. However, the moment I connect, it is impossible to load anything. And the site says that the seats are not available. Can someone help me please ?
Hi, I purchased the eurail 5 days in 1 month mobile pass. When I check Paris to London 3-Jun tickets. All tickets from 11am onward do not allow me to book through the pass as there is none available. However in rail planner app, I can assign that day as a day of travel and select a train. It creates a ticket. Does that mean its booked through rail planner and pay the reservation fees in the train?
