Pass cover number (paper pass) doesn't work in app
Hi. Me and my friend bought a paper pass and now we want to put the pass cover number into the app, so we have the opportunity to make seats reservations in the app. But every time we write our pass cover number in the app, it says error/the pass number is incorrect. Hope you can help. Thank you.

Hallo alle zusammen! Ich schaue mir gerade die Angebote für die verschiedenen Pässe an und der Global Pass mit den sieben Tagen hat es mir angetan. Jedoch bin ich noch nie mit Interrail gereist und hätte zwei Fragen die mir bis jetzt keiner beantworten konnte.1. Es gibt den Einreisetag und den Ausreistag von oder in mein Heimatland. Sind diese zwei Tage einer meiner sieben "Travel days" oder sind die extra bei den sieben Tagen dabei? 2. Kann ich an einem Reisetag mit mehreren Zügen durch mehrere Länder fahren? Danke schon im Voraus für eure Antworten. :)
Last Inbound is splited into 2 days
I would like to use my last inbound trip to Germany. The only train I can take is a night train and I have to change trains in Germany the next morning - so I need two days of travel. But I can't get a ticket for the second day because my last trip to Germany is used up.But I absolutely have to take this train. What should I do?
Seat reservations Brussels to Valence on 26/4 and Paris Gare du Nord to Amsterdam
Hi I've been trying to book my reservations for a traintrip from deventer (NL) to figueres vilafant (ES) and back. a lot of seat reservations are needed, but i seem not to be able to book the one from brussel to valence on 26/4/22 and one frome paris gare du nord to amsterdam on 6/5/22 .anyone have any ideas on how to book them alternitavely? it says ‘ No price results were found for this connection. It is possible that the train is fully booked for pass holders. Please try searching for another connection or find an alternative way to book. ‘ but i see no alternative way to book. anyone?thank you for your trouble regards, Bram

Travel day boundaries during daylight savings time
For mobile passes, a travel runs from 0:00 until 23:59 CET, as is mentioned on this page and this page. However, what happens during daylight savings time? If we take the text on these pages literally, then during daylight savings time, a travel day also runs from 0:00 until 23:59 CET, which is 1:00 until 0:59 CEST.I suspect that during daylight savings time, a travel day runs from 0:00 until 23:59 CEST. If that is indeed the case, then I think it's a good idea to state that explicitly on the pages mentioned.
My outbound journey is overnight and I will be changing trains in my home country past midnight, what should I do?
So I will be travelling from Hamburg (Germany) to Madrid (Spain) via Strasbourg (France).My Train departs in Hamburg (Germany) in the evening of my first travel day (outbound) and arrives in Offenburg (Germany) in the morning. In order to get to Strasbourg (France), I will have to take a local train from Offenburg (Germany) to Strasbourg (France), which only takes about 30 Minutes. But because I will be changing trains past midnight in Offenburg, which is still in my home country, the Interrail-App counts it as a second inbound-outbound day, although it is only one journey. Is there a way to avoid this problem?I don’t have the possibility to take an other train or use a different route.
Booking italian trains (specifically Freccariosa) with a mobile pass on Italiarail.com
I won the Interrail Global Pass thanks to DiscoverEU program. I would like to book an Italian Frecciarossa train (from Turin to Paris) but the self-service system doesn't allow me to (screenshot below). I checked alternative ways to book the train and I'm confused about the information that I found (photo below). I have a mobile pass. If I understand correctly, I can't book the train with Italiarail with a mobile pass? Why is that? I found my train on ItaliaRail (photo below) Do I have any other option to book this ticket with a mobile pass at a discounted price? Or do I have to book it at full price (35€) at the Italian train booking website (trenitalia.com)?
Unable to book seat reservations on a section of my trip
Good Afternoon,I have a Interrail Global Pass and have been planning a multi destination journey and have managed to book several seat reservations. I have come unstuck on one section, Innsbruck to Sargans where it says that availibilty is good but I cannot get as far as payment.At the review your order stage several errors come up, “One leg of your journey could not be booked”, “Please try to find an alternative connection, the unavailable leg of your journey will be removed from your cart.”It does not allow me to proceed to payment.I have tried various other train times and it comes up with the same issue each time.I would be gratgeful of any help on this matter.Ian
Getting to UK with One Country Pass from Switzerland
Hello, I am about to visit a friend in the UK, so I bought a One Country Pass. I live in Switzerland, so I need to do a seat reservation for the TGV through France (to Paris) and then the Eurostar (to London). However, I am not able to book a seat, it says “not valid for your pass”. So my first question is, why? Can I travel trough different country with One Country Pass? (I think the answer is YES, because I am travelling directly to London, it is 1 day of travel) Then, I have an old Global Interrail (expired), and I am able to book a seat with this old pass. my second question is: should I book my seats with this old pass? Can't find train connections to book reservations (for summer)
Hey, I’m going inter railing for the first time this summer and seat reservations are becoming so confusing. I’m having 2 issues at the moment. I booked a train between Paris and Lyon and when trying to book reservations I can't find the specific train I booked but I need to buy a seat reservation why would this train not exist anymore? secondly I have another train booked between Lyon and nice, I can buy a seat reservation for one part of the journey but not the other and I can't buy it for any of the trains that day. is there still a way I can book this reservation not on the website as it won't let me or will I have to change my route,thanks in advance
Seat reservation - name on ticket
Dear community, I have a question regarding my seat reservation. I booked a seat reservation for the train from Lyon (France) to Barcelona (Spain). Since the printed ticket for the seat reservation will be delivered after starting my journey and I will already be at a friend's place at that time, I had to indicate his name and his address as the delivery address. With this post, I just wanted to make sure that the name indicated on the seat reservation ticket will be my name, not his name? My name was automatically chosen as the traveller's name during the booking process, however, I wanted to make sure that everything will be okay with the ticket. Day trains when traveling with a night train
Hello everybody, I’m planning a trip with my friend, but something is not very clear to us about the use of a night train. We want to know when you want to travel with a night train you can use other trains the whole day. So for example we take a night train that departures at 23.00 are we able to take that whole day all trains we want and then use the night train within one travel day or does the usage of a night train cost one travel day and if we want to take the trains, at that same day as the night train departures, also cost us another travel day?
Cancel seat reservations because of Covid?
Hey everyone!Situation: I'm currently stuck in Spain because I have to be in quarantine. Because of that I can't travel back my planned route and use my seat reservations. I booked all of them at a ticket office in France and Germany, so I don't have them digital, only printed with me. The first train back would originally be on the 18th of March. I already tried to check whether I can cancel the tickets on the internet, but DB said on its website that they aren't able to (I'm not sure about that though). Question: Do you know if there is any way to cancel or at least postpone the reservations? I have friends who would be able to go to a ticket office in Spain for me as well.

Hello everyone, I am trying to reserve a seat on the train leaving HANNOVER HBF on the 18th of April at 14:40 for AMSTERDAM CENTRAAL at 19:00. Whenever I try to reserve seats I get an error stating “Please try to find an alternate connection. The unavailable leg will be removed from your cart.”On EUrail websiteBut the thing is, when I look on the DB website, there is availability on that train and I can even book seat reservations. I have also tried to mobile eurail website on my phone, but I can’t even add the seats to my cart on there. I’m not sure what’s going on, because I was able to reserve seats on a train from Amsterdam to Paris with no issues.Someone please help, I would like to hold the seat reservation in my EUrail account for simplicity when traveling.
Brussels-Köln with One Country pass ''your pass is not valid for this connection''
I have bought a German Rail Pass for me and my boyfriend, because I found it is also valid for ICE-trains between Brussels and Köln (source: it says in the conditions “"The German Rail Pass is valid on the following direct routes: Cologne (Köln Hbf) - Brussels (Bruxelles-Midi) Cologne (Köln Hbf) - Liège (Liège-Guillemins)" and I found also confirmation here German Interrail pass : Liège (Belgium) to Cologne (Köln, Germany) | Community (eurail.com) ).But now I tried to reserve us seats for this train, and it says “Your Pass or the Pass of a travel companion is not valid for this connection.”How can this be solved? Thank you!
Trains from Slovenia to Serbia and from Serbia o Greece
Hi everyone !I’ve noticed that some travelers ask for similar questions, but it was a few months ago, so maybe the answer has changed.My boyfriend and I would like to go from slovenia to serbia and then from serbia to greece.But impossible to find train which does those route.I think I need to go from Slovenia to Zagreb, ans then from Zagreb to Serbia (Beograd), but I can’t find anything…I hope you can help, Thank you :)
Connections and ticket - a beginner
HiI am planning my first Interrail adventure. My first journey is from Sweden to the very north of Germany and is with 5 connections, mostly with short transfer. The risk of missing a connection is therefore present.When I connect a journey to my Interrail pass (not bought or validated yet) will the ticket be valid for the all connections or do I get separate tickets for each part?RegardsRobertPS: I will be using the App, no paper.

Hi, im having trouble finding in the page of OBB where to indicate that I have a EUrail pass to make a reservation on a night train, in order to this they are charging me the tickets, con you indicate me where I can put this info so I dont have to pay the tickets?
The pass cover number is wrong, again
I’ve contacted customer support twice now and still had no response. And I urgently need to book tickets. I bought a first class three month global pass, and when I first tried to book it seemed that the pass cover number was incorrect. So Eurail sent me a new number. But still no booking agency, either Eurail or the French site, will accept this new pass number. I”ve tried every combination of numbers from the ticket and it just says “Your pass number looks incorrect” .Is there any way to get actual help with this issue? I can’t start travelling until it is sorted. Am pretty upset about this.
