Hello, I have a questionI bought a eurail pass of class 2 for any 7 days in a month. When I was traveling in Italy and needed to book a seat, I couldn't find a reservation for class 2, so I could only book class 1. May I have a first class seat? if not what should i do?
Hi everyone - I have a digital pass and can see that I will probably be asked to provide a pass cover number when booking at local train stations. Has anyone booked trains with their digital pass in Spain recently ? Have there been any difficulties with the digital pass? Also I’ve asked Interrail customer service for mine - has anyone had any success contacting?

I bought and received 4 pass for our family trip this summer. I am trying to enter our information in the Eurail app but NONE of the passes have a “Pass #” of any type.I’ve read the instructions about them beginning with an I or E, followed by an 8 digit number. I’ve gone online and looked at pictures of what these numbers should look like and where they should be located. All four of our passes are blank in that area. I’ve even scanned the barcode that is on the left side of the pass to see if that was it but this is just a 7 digit number.The only numbers on the passes are at the top and they look like this “CIV 9901 EU304….. -1” but all four have the same number and are just sequenced -1, -2, -3, -4In the image below is this not were the number is supposed to be?Number location

Good evening and thank u all in advance. It’s the first time I’m doing interrail and I’ve found out some problems that are driving me crazy. In some trains that DO need reservation, I cannot do it because it says “reservation unavailable”. I am writing down the concrete trains and dates so it is easier for you to help me. 30/07/2022. Zagreb Glavni Kol 18:40 → Ljubljana 20:5431/07/2022. Ljubljana 21:10 → Villach HBF 22:49 I have already seen the same problem with other trains in which the reservation is not mandatory, so I think it’s not such a big deal in those cases. But I am really worried about the trains I’ve written down before. I hope you guys could help me.Thank u so much!!!!!!
Hi, I’m new to the interrail community. This summer my friend and I will be interrailing for the first time. We are leaving on the 24th of july and just started booking tickets. However, there are a lot of trains that need seat reservations. When I try to make a seat reservation online for the 25th of july, it says that there are no tickets left and when I click on extra information it says that you can only reserve seats 60 days before the travel date and earlier. Unfortunately we are now at 54 days before the travel date and it seems that we can’t make a seat reservation anymore trough the website of interrail. Does anyone now in what other way I can make a seat reservation for me and my friend? For now, it is for the train from Berlin HBF tot Krakow Glowny on the 25th of july, that depards at 10:39 am. Hello!im planning to drive through France to Spain and back to France and Switzerland and Italy. The problem is that pretty much every train needs a seat reservation and at the moment all of my trains are basically booked out? I don’t know if there is a problem with the system or if it’s true .Is there any way I still can get a ticket- or the seat reservation?
Hi:) i am really new to interrail and really excited about it. However i have a small problem.so i booked a reservation a few weeks ago from Amsterdam Centraal to London. However, my plans have slightly changed and at the date of this journey I am in Bruxelles instead of in Amsterdam. Is it possible to board the train (where I have a seat reservation from Amsterdam to London) also from Bruxelles (which is two stops after Amsterdam)? Or will the reservation not be valid if you do not board the train at the station of your reservation?thankss if anyone has the answer to my question:) have a lovely evening🥰
Do you have to print it out and show it on the train along with the QR code on your interrail app or can you put the reservation you have bought on the app?
I am travelling with one other person from Lille France to Bordeaux France and I have the mobile pass, I understand that you can put the trips in the plan on the app and then that will work for taking that trip but I am confused about making reservations where required.From what I understand reservations are separate from the interrail pass but you can make the reservations and pay for the reservation for the specific train time you want to take on the interrail website. But when you make the reservation, do you have to print it out and show it on the train along with the QR code on your interrail app or can you put the reservation you have bought on the app?
I just started using the Eurail Global Pass and i’m very insecure about it. I already lost one day of trip i think because i couldn’t reserve a seat. And now i’m not knowing how to use the app and the website, because the informations in them are not matching. My questions is: How do I know that i will get a seat in the trains that don't need a reservation? And what do i show to get in the train?I made a reservation on the website in my account and this trip didn’t appeared in the app, what do i need to do?
I have a Eurail pass. On it there are 2 trips (for early June). I have been able (at last) to book the reservations for Eurostar that I need. BUT - my wife also has a Eurail pass. On it is 1 trip that we do together. Eurostar reservation OK. But she has also booked a 2nd trip back to the UK (not with me - alone), which appears in HER app, and for THAT trip she wants to book a Eurostar reservation. At that point she is told that she doesn’t have any trips booked yet. What is going on???
I’m tying to book seat reservations for 4 from Barcelona Sants to Valencia Sorolla on June 24 but the specific train time (18:15) I need (that is listed on RENFE site and on Rail Europe) is not listed on Eurail so I can not reserve my seats. I called Renfe and they said Eurail pass holders can only book that train 3 days in advance-- is this true? Also he said there were 125 seats left for that particular time but couldn’t tell me out of how many total so I don’t know if this is good or bad for my chances of getting a seat if I wait until I am in Spain to reserve? I will be traveling from Montpellier to Barcelona earlier that day and need to connect to that specific train to get to Valencia. Does anyone have any tips, advice or experience with this? Thank you!
Hello!I have two important questions:As you can see in the first image, it won't let me reserve a seat for either of the two trains from Ljubljana to Split. Do you know how and where I can reserve seats on both trains? Does it mean that they are full or that I have to buy the ticket at the station? The second question is why on the seat reservation website (first image) it says that the train from Ljubljana to Zagreb is the NT 415 and in the application (second image) where I have the pass it says that it is the EN 415 train? Hello Interrailers and Eurailer!How you (almost) all know, in Germany and Austria you don’t have to book a reservation, but you can via bahn.com (4€/trip 2nd class) and tickets.oebb.at (3€/train) via seat only option. Some trains are now and I presume this summer very full. Please check before boarding via bahn.com the utilization forecast for German trains and via fahrplan.oebb.at the utilization forecast note for Austrian trains. For trains that will be full you get a note with the text that a reservation is preferable to get a seat. Some trains now, have a note that due to that this trains are full, you only are allowed to get in the train with reservations. Without you have to leave the train.
Both mobile passen are installed on different devices. Using “share as link” works fine and the whole trip is transferred to the other device. However the sequence of journeys is mixed! Do you have to select all journeys for a particular day in order to produce the correct QR code for inspection?
Hi there i was wondering if anyone could help! me and my friends were planning getting the 23:09 train from Stockholm Central → Copenhagen, changing over at Malmo C. This comes up in the journey planner, but it is not available to see in the reservation sections? I have also tried the SJ.se website for the swedish railway services, and it’s not on there either? Any help appreciated!
Hi, i am trying to book a train from zurich-como on 09.06.22. But when i try to book a seat it says «prices unavaileble. Come back in a few houres to see prices and reserve a seat». I have checked the website many times during the last few days but it still says «prices unavaileble». I have also checed with the train company and the train is not sold out. I get the same error if I try to book any other random seat reservations. Does anyone share the same problem??
Hi, everyone.I have a one country pass for Italy (I’m travelling in the beginning of July) and I booked my reservations on the ÖBB website, because I saw on the interrail.eu website that I could do that. But I noticed that I didn’t needed to use my pass number during any of the reservations and I thought that was a bit weird.I just received an e-mail from interrail.eu saying that I could start booking my reservations on their app/website and now I’m confused if my reservations made on the ÖBB website are valid or not. Noticed that I have received the email with all of the ticket reservations but I don’t know what to do now
Hello fellow travelers 👋I'm looking for information regarding my trip from Bruxelles to Bordeaux. I'd be traveling with the One Country Pass for France. My question: is the Thalys train connection Bruxelles-Midi to Paris Nord included in the One Country Pass for France and do I only need to pay for the reservation or do I have to buy a separate ticket which is not the Interrail one? It is a direct connection so I don't know which rule applies. Your help would be appreciated 🙏
Hi, I have been emailing interrail but I have been unable to get an answer. Me and my friends are trying to get a reservation on a train from Lille Europe (France) to Amsterdam Centraal, however when on the interrail website it doesn’t allow a reservation. The reasons given for why we can’t reserve it seem contradictory, see attached images. One of these reasons is that it can only be booked 90 days in advance, but that day is long gone. What can we do to get a seat reservation on this train? We tried calling the station but it was just an automated voice saying the number didn’t work. Hello, I would like to add my interrail pass on the Rail planner app but it says that I can't because it's already been saved on another device, which is true because I saved my pass in the app on my former phone which has been stolen 2 months ago... so I would like to know if there is any way I can add my pass on my new phone without having to "remove the pass from the other device" as it's suggested to do on the FAQ platform and I obviously can’t do it. Thanks !
Hello, I have a question about réservation and train not on time. I need to take a train to arrive in a city in which I can take my Interrail but thee problem is that : between the 2 trains there are only 15 minutes. My question is this : if the train before is late and I can’t take the train intrerrail that I have reserved, what can I do ? Can I take the next whithout making the réservation or I need to pay an other ticket ?
