The Slovenian National Railways has announced that heavy storms and flooding have severely impacted train services across Slovenia since 6th August. Some routes in Croatia and Southern Austria have also been affected.
Rail replacement buses and alternate train services have been deployed on certain routes. For more information on train delays and alternate transportation on domestic routes, please check the SZ website.
To check which international routes have been affected, please have a look at the OBB website. We also recommend checking the SZ timetable for domestic travel and the OBB timetable for international travel shortly before your planned journey for up-to-date information.
