It is real and reliable and belongs to the Belgian railways. But it is at the end not cheaper than to book through the interrail reservation system.
Thanks for your suggestions. At least good to know that there are in fact no really sufficently satifying solutions. Apart from printing a map from openrailwaymaps, drawing the itinerary by hand and scanning it Google maps seems to be the only - not too good - alternative: applicable stops are limited and sometimes the mandatory car route prohibits a correct outining of the rail journey (e.g. with Flåmsbana from Myrdal to Flåm, because there is just no road).It would be fine if the railplanner app could also show the manually integrated journeys on its map - the places are always chosen from the integrated scrolldown menu, so it shouldn’t face a to big IT-problem.
