Do you have also a timetable Barcelona - Valencia? And are they this sommer also driving? Try renfe.es or www.raileurope.com. Oeps Dutch, do you understand? The second gives alone the quick one, with reservation online to buy at the station in Barcelona, and controle which do'nt know dogs are permitted in a basket…..There must be more trains?
You can't find the connections because Spanish railways don't share these timetables with the rest of the world :( You can use regional trains via Cerbère/Portbou, see this timetable. Or you can go via Latour-de-Carol (= La Tor de Querol), see this timetable. Timetables north of Latour and Cerbère are in most planners. Do you have also a timetable Barcelona - Valencia? And are they this sommer also driving?
I tryed at ns- international, but they say they can't… I have the same problem. And also from Barcelona to Valencia. RENFE is not really cooperative. You can try: RENFE (by phone or at the ticket office) SNCF (by phone or at the ticket office) DB (by phone (+49 30 2970; collect at DB ticket machine) or at the ticket office Domestic reservations in Spain are not limited by quota though, so a few days in advance is usually OK. Reservations between Spain and France (such as Lyon - Barcelona) are only available on paper and have limited availability. you can book them via the the same channels but you need to allow time for delivery via the post if you buy by phone. NS and NMBS also sell them but NS has an extra charge of at least EUR 7.50. In the end we faled in Lyon, the train has no seats left. It was very busy. We have make other reservations and have to take an hotel in Barcelona…
Barcelona - Valencia They send you to Madrid and back. But there are a lot of trains direct! Quick; reservation need, local: free! But less quick.
Hello, as the booking for the high speed trains was hell, i am thinking of taking the regional trains back however i somehow cant find the connections. Isnt there a train through the Pyrenees which doesnt need reservation? Best Anne There is also a night train Paris La Tour de la Carole, very nice! And also Paris-Cerbere
Last year we went from Valencia - Barcelona to Port Bou - Cerbere with local trains. In Cerbere we have to wait te take the sleeping train to Paris. From the station we walk through a long tunnel downstairs and we stand on a beach! With little shops and bars. It was very nice!Look in the south of French if you see flmingo's near the train in the water
There is a train from Toulouse (France) in to the mountains. You can change on the border to a little train to Barcelona (Spain) It’s an amazing route!
Take time to sit and look around, enjoy sitting in the trains and look at what you see. Look in the city’s for things you like. Do you like water, go to water and take a boot, do you like bikecling, take a bike to go. Have fun!
A good one!
I tryed at ns- international, but they say they can't…
I have the same problem!
And we have only 28 minutes to change. I am afraid that is not enough to get a reservation. Someone have the same?
I have the same problem. And also from Barcelona to Valencia.I know you need reservation, otgerwise they don't let you on the platform.
How do the signpost look like? And we are coming from Brussel. Make it a difference if we are in that train in the front or middle? To be quicker.
