Thank you for your response and advice.As soon as we arrived in first Italian railway station, we went to ticket office to reserve our seats in the planned upcomingtrains. What I feared became true: all seats were already booked. The lady of Trenitalia was very helpful in finding other train alternatives at other times, but also in those the wished seats (we have Interrail pass for 1st class) were fully sold out.
Hi again.I have tried to book seats again on Trenitalia website, without success. In 2019 we also travelled in Italy with paper Interrail ticket and could make all seat reservations on Trenitalia site without any problems. Now I keep getting error message that Interrail pass number is incorrect. I am getting anxious that when I arrive in Italy, all seats will be booked out.Any suggestions?
