Thank you both
Unbelievable, my ticket is 'refundable' yet they keep 40 SEK if I cancel. So they have ripped me off twice SJ is a total scam for non Swedish people, customer service unreachable, registerring only with swedish social security number.
Thank you, very helpful. And shame on SJ for ripping off people who don't read Swedish!
11:07 copenh to malmo
Now in another frecciarossa, delayed ab 45 minutes, making the IC train (no delay there) actually faster. Then there was a barking dog, in business class. A lot of fun for a 4 hour ride 😅, luckily I found a seat in the other compartment People: after having then 4 of them the past week: business class frecciarossa is not worth it, getting a first class Interail pass.
How interesting Angelo that you are comparing to other countries:I haven't seen any 'business class' in other countries. But, Who do you work for? I don't care what other countries first class is like. If you pay for a business class train with a business class tarif, and a business wifi service is there, it should work. People pay for this class so they can work. And a warm sparkling wine is not better than nothing, it's worse.I'll send it to you if you like.
Right.. Well, for those reading this: don't expect too much from service on frecciarossa. First class ('business class') Milano to torinoNo wifi and I received a warm sparkling wine as welcome drink. No water
Re activating the pass is not an issue for me: global pass so no travel days to count. I was just wondering why a train ticket for a local train needs to be the exact time. In Belgium you buy a ticket for today and you can hop on any train for that route. Meaning if I don't know yet which (without reservation 'eeded) train I'll take tomorrow, I 'eed to add all and select the one before boarding, or stress minutes before taking the train to find it (if eurail has the right times loaded)
I see, so this means that, although Italy extended masks on trains until late September, couchettes 'can' be shared again? Which Would mean sleeping with a mask on
I think it's all July/Aug m' on the Trenord app (which was updated yesterday) it now shows the train+bus when you search Milano to tirano
Thanks both, so what I conclude: ICE trains: only can be booked with db when reservation is not mandatory and these reservations can't be canceled.I'm travelling with my child, BRU-HAMB 15 Aug and HAMB-COP 16 Aug. Can we risk not making a reservation for the first one? (First class Interail)Second one seems to be necessary so I'll book through DSB. (Another app to install ;) )
Thanks for the quick reply! Not possible..hmm so I have to reserve via Interail?Or via obb, sj..,..? I have all the apps on my phone. This Interail adventure is becoming so complicated.. supposed to give you freedom, flexibility..
U read it's now a 3+ h journey, train+busAnyone know of a express bus tirano-Milano? My worry: if a bus is waiting to take train passengers from wherever it stops, to tirano: a bus has less seats than a train.
Many thanks seawulf, booked the oslo-copenH boat. indeed reasonable! We will do a loop hamburg-cop-stock-os-hamburg
Does anyone know how to book a discounted ferry? Need to get from Oslo to Belgium.Ferry to Kiel would be a good start. There are no trains through Göteborg, only buses this summer. But, where to book the ferry.. there are these ferry booking websites, are these expensive, where can I apply Interail discount? Wondering what the cost is for 1 adult +1 child versus a looooong day of trains Oslo to Copenhagen and next day on to Hamburg,...
Thanks a lot !Oh and I see now: 1st is including breakfast. Makes sense
Thanks a million for your quick response, life saver 😀
I also got frustrated trying to figure this out, installing apps from all rail companies in Italy,.. Another post on the forum mentions: there are works on the line this summer and the schedule is not released yet. It's TRENORD who runs the trains in that line.Probably no trains going to tirano Jul/Aug 22, but a bus service instead. We can only wait for news I guess I also booked Bernina and need to in one day: Bernina to st moritz, st moritz back to Tirano, then onto Milano and on to Genoa
