Not a Eurail question really. I am from Australia and my friend and I want to see some out of the way places and are considering hiring a car rather than buses and trains. However we drive on the left side of the road. Is it safe and is it very hard?? We would only do it in the regional areas not in the cities and big towns. Cheers, Renee
We want to catch a bus from Kalamata in the south Peloponnese to Olympia. It appears the bus stops at Zacharo which is roughly 50km short of Olympia. I dont understand why this would be the case. There seems to only be the option of catching a taxi the remaining distance.Has anybody done this trip? I know that buses coming from the north go all the way to Olympia from Athens. Cheers, Renee L (Australia).
We are travelling to Europe from Australia in April 2024. We would prefer to get from Patras to Brindisi by ferry and continue down to Sicily and leave from Palermo to Naples. Has anybody done this route? many thanks, ReneeL
