So myself and my teenage child are heading to Norway in July we fly in to Bodo and will be travelling via train over a 4 week period in to the middle of August. Norway has an 8 day within one month pass so do i need to count how many days travel for July then how many days travel for August and buy a different pass for both months or does the month just mean 30/31 days. I am so confused
We Fly in to Norway in July and will be travelling for a month. If i buy the interrail pass does this only cover main routes ? We will be using Bodo to Trondheim. Trondheim to Tonsberg Tonberg to Oslo .We will also need to use local trains to go sight seeing and get to our home stays not sure if local rail journeys are included. We may also do the Norway in a Nutshell tour as well. We are mum and teenager.
Help please when i buy my pass do i use that to get from my home town to London to use the Eurostar or do i need a separate ticket ?
Can someone help me with the pass i need please? So my plan would be start from my home town and travel to London i want to travel to Norway so i know i need to travel via various country's i want to keep the cost down so only overnight stays in hotels en-route if i really need to.I wish to be in Norway from 3rd August-7th August so will book 7 night accommodation then do the journey home. May not travel around Norway so much while we are there will maybe hire a car . I am travelling with my teenage son so need to keep him in mind . we are both quite easy going but as a mum i need to make sure we are both safe.
