Anyone knows what “additional supplement required “ means, how much it costs? Is it something that has a stock like seat reservations or am I fine after booking a reservation for 12 euros.
trying to book a seat reservation on 6th of july from zurich to frauenfeld that takes 36 minutes. On the interrail app, it doesn’t say seat reservation is needed but when I am on the website and also when I check sbb.ch, it says “ seat reservation not possible”. Does anyone know what it means?Does it mean I don’t have to reserve a seat for that train?
Some trains have 5 minutes between each other for me to leave the first one and hop on the second one. If my first train gets delayed there is a huge possibility I won’t make it to my 2nd one. Does that mean the money I paid for my reservation will just be worthless and I will have to buy another seat reservation for the next train? Or how does it work?
Hey, as many as you know, it’s pretty hard to book a seat reservation in Spain/France, especially online. Well, even when you come across an available seat reservation, it always requires a paper pass. I was having the same problem a few days ago until I came across a reply to one of the questions on here. I was told to go to this site https://www.sncf.com/en/customer-service/contact-us/telephoneDial 00 33 1 84 94 3635, once they answer input #85 to listen to it in english. After a representative picks up the phone, you tell them what pass you have, what date you are planning on going etc, once they find a reservation for you, they will have you input your credit card details etc and once that is also done, you’ll receive an email regarding your reservation. I just booked Paris → Barcelona for €29.Let me know if you have any questions.
Hey all, just did a bologna - munichmunich - bologna reservation for 6 euros total through ÖBBAfter getting my reservation on email, I went on Interrail app Went to My Trip Added return to my tripMy question is, is this all I have to do? After activating my pass, do i just show him my interrail pass and reservation pdf? Because on the journey, it still says “seat reservations required” so decided to ask is this all I have to do after booking seats and wondering if there is a guide for this. Thanks in advance
can I just hop on a train without booking reservations and sit on the floor?
Hey,I am going to be starting my travel from Bologna/Italy. I was wondering if booking reservations for each train is a must. For example, If I were to go to Florence from Bologna which takes 25mins, would it be okay not to book a reservation? Or do I need to buy 1 for sure? Also, when I go on interrail’s app, it says for most of the train tickets, I must book a reservation. How can I know when I need to book a reservation? Can I just not get 1 for short trips?
