Another couple of questions about reservations:Is a reservation obligatory on the German part of the ICE Frankfurt - Paris? Is the Interrail pass valid on the bus from Saarbrücken to Luxembourg? And what's the easiest way to reserve a seat?
Due to unfortunate circumstances, I had to interrupt my trip and used both my inbound/outbound travel days to The Netherlands. When I want to resume my trip from my home country, I can use my Dutch subscription until the border. However, how does it work with Interrail? Can I use my pass starting at the border, or at the first station after the border? In other words: Do I need to buy a supplementary ticket from the last Dutch station to the first non-Dutch station? Or do the two different train cards merge seamlessly?
Hi everyone, Is there anyone of you who's planning on an Interrail trip to the UK & Scotland? I very much want to, but I'm doubting because of the heavy restrictions upon entering and leaving the country.
I know there's a required reservation for the Intercity Hamburg - Copenhagen. Do the domestic Intercities (e.g. Copenhagen - Esbjerg) also have a required reservation? If so, what's the easiest/cheapest way to do so? For both ones?
Hi everyone,I'm trying to book seats for a TGV with the Interrail reservation system. I've added my fellow traveler to my trip so that I could reserve 2 seats, but when I want to book, it says it's not available. Could anyone help me with it?
Hi everyone,I’ve started my interrail trip today. I’ve made reservations for most of the trains, but I’m wondering whether I should make a reservation for:EC 99 Zürich - München, andEC 323 Zürich - Lugano (only the Swiss part of the journey)So to be sure, I’m not asking whether a reservation is required, because I believe it isn’t, but whether a reservation is recommended.
Hi everyone,When making reservations, is it sufficient to have your reservations downloaded on your phone? Or are there any countries/trains which require printed reservations?

Hi everyone, Saturday, I'm going to start on a 15 day-trip (in 2 months) with an Interrail pass. This will be my fifth year I'm going to travel by train, but I have a question. On 1 of your travel days you're allowed to use the pass to travel out of your country, and on another day you're allowed to travel back in. Does it always have to be the first and last day of your trip, though? Or are you allowed to use any day in your travel period? Thanks in advance!
