Do I need a seat reservation for that journey? in OBB there are no seats or reservation is not necessary? In a eurail it does not say anything about whether this route needs a seat reservation. On trains in Austria they always ask me to reserve a seat, I have Eurail first class, only for my first class do I need a reservation?

I think in Summer seat reservations are mandatory here, since it’s a very popular route and material that can cross borders is scarce.

I always book this via DSB Udland: https://travel.b-europe.com/dsb-rail/dk/reservation-only#TravelWish

In which part do I add the Eurail discount? Is the website only in German?

You don't. This is a specific page for reservations only.

Is the website only in German?

In Danish :)

Between the 17th of June and the 20th of August,  seat reservations are mandatory on the direct trains between Copenhagen and Hamburg. Even outside of these dates it might be wise to make a seat reservation as there are many people travelling with these trains.

It is also possible to travel this route using regional trains without reservation, but then you need to switch trains at least once.
