Hello everyone, My departure day arrive soon and I didn't receive yet my outbound paper ticket. The plan is to leave Montpellier the 5th of November for Barcelona then Valencia. On the tracking platform I see that there is a problem with the delivery but I don't have details. I send an email to interrail but no response yet. Do you know if I can go to the Montpellier train station and ask for my ticket and what would happen if I can't? 👋🙂Romain
Hi! help pls so i’m planning to go to hamburg, i already made my reservation from Barcelona to Paris, and i have a 50 min time to make the connection. When i made this reservation (Barcelona-Paris) the guy in the ticket office told me he could only make that one, not the whole thing all the way to Germany. I was confident (i know now i was wrong) that i would be able to do it one day early. Im trying to make the reservation for Paris-Frankfurt and i cant, but i checked other days and I cant any day, it says“no price results were found for this connection. is it possible that the train is fully booked for pass holders…”but i checked on the DB website and they still have seats. i don’t know what to do, i have only 50 min in Paris and i’m afraid they won’t give me the seat. please help ): (i also tried other dates and it always says that) (and i checked on interrap, BD, others and idk what to do should i just try when i get to paris?)
Buen día!Quisiera consultar sobre mi pase de Eurail y sus reservas.Tengo un pase de Eurail que se activaría el 01-01-2022 y tengo 4 vouchers de Eurostar, para los cuales tengo que definir una fecha para su utilización antes del 30-12-2021.Me gustaría saber si esos vouchers de Eurostar son para reservas flexibles de Eurail y cómo tengo que hacer para utilizarlos, ya que todavía no tengo una fecha decidida de viaje, por los motivos conocidos de la pandemia.Según leí en la página de Eurail, si esas reservas son flexibles, puedo definir una fecha de uso y puedo cambiarlas hasta 7 días antes sin gasto alguno. ¿Es así?Espero sus comentarios, muchas gracias!
Hello everyone,we are planning our trip through Europe. But somehow the high speed trains in Italy have disappeared! Same in France here are all the TGVs between Toulouse and Paris gone.Are these trains not longer useable with the global pass?Kind regards!
I am trying to find a way to book seats on the TGV trains between Luxembourg to Paris and Paris to Frankfurt online with the ability to use my Interrail cover number. I can't find any retailer that let me do this, except maybe the Interrail planner app reservation function. Since I bought my pass from a Swedish retailer I am not able to use the app for reservations… Is there any other site I can possibly use? I guess the only other option I have is to book these trains separately and pay full price :(Since this is my first time traveling with trains outside Sweden I’m not familiar with booking train tickets at stations, but do you think that there will be any seats left if I book these seats like 2 days ahead in Paris when I get there at the ticket office? Or is the pressure on tickets too high on the high speed trains to be able to get any in such a short time ahead? I rather not be stuck in Paris :)
Hi, I am looking into the trainride from Hamburg (Germany) to Hirtshals (Denmark) and on the app it says that seat reservations are required, but when I have to pay it says it is optional? On the website it also says that it is not required.. Can I hop on the train without a reservation? Thanks in advance!
Hello the community, to make the journey Villach - Venice with my interrail, a reservation of siege was required. So I paid 2 € on the interrail booking site and when I was at the counter asking a question and the person made me paid 10 € extra for the reservation. She told me it was necessary but the reservation of 2 € siege on the interrail site is not supposed to be enough with the Interrail Pass? So finally, I have my Interrail pass + a seat reservation ticket + an other extra ticket of 10€, it's normal?
Estoy preparando un viaje para este verano en el que quiero visitar Lituania, Letonia y Estonia (o algo así). Pero a la hora de preparar el recorrido y consultar los trenes, me dice que no hay horarios disponibles entre ninguna de las ciudades de estos paises y tampoco accediendo desde otro país (por ejemplo un tren de Varsovia a Vilnius). ¿Alguien sabe a que se debe? Hi!Since October 6th, it is possible to book trains in France for the Christmas period (source: https://www.oui.sncf/aide/l-ouverture-des-ventes). Yet, it seems that I can’t book seat reservations for after December 11th on the Interrail site.Anybody knows when reservations will be open? Thank you!
Once upon a time with an Interrail Pass one just entered where one was going and got on board. Total flexibility. But now everything is digital and limited and needs to be booked ahead and printed out….. I have bought a pass and wish to reserve a place from Brussels to Valence, from there to Barcelona, from there to Madrid. But despite going to the web page for ‘Book reservations’ I only get a red blob telling me that no Trips are entered; I have created a Trip entry but this repeats. The ‘timetable’ I fill in with date and time of planned journey does not then go dark to allow one to press a ‘Search’ or anything similar, just brings me back in a continuous loop to where I already was. This is frustrating. I see from other people’s comments that they, too, have difficulties with making a reservation. What should one do?
So, I am traveling from Stuttgart to Barcelona on the 31st of January. Here are the trains I use. For the first two, I already made the reservations online. But the last one (Lyon-Barcelona) I can only book as a paper reservation, but It won't arrive until the 31st.I already went to the traveling agency of Deutsche Bahn, but they told me to book this train online.What can I do here?Can I buy a reservation at the train station in Lyon, on the day of departure?Or how I can get into contact with renfe or sncf for this case?Thank you in advance :)
Hello Interrail-Team,my girlfriend and me travelled with an Interrail Global Pass this summer.We are from Germany and travelled through France, Spain, Italy and Switzerland.We faced some minor and one major issue:1. Both of our smartphones were not able to make a reservation of a ticket.A direct reservation via the app is not possible at all.The app redirects us to your website, where at one point the reservation tool just stops working.Therefore, we had to go to the train station each time we made a reservation.2. We tried to travel from France to Italy via Ventimiglia by 2 intercity trains.We couldnt book the intercity train starting from Ventimiglia to Italy back when we were in France because of Issue No.1.When we tried to book the train in Ventimiglia it was already full, so we had to stay there longer than expected.3. We both updated the app to the latest version including the train timetable.Still, there were different departure times for lots of intercity and regional trains.Pl
Hi everyone, I'm heading to Lisbon from Seville on the 10th December and I've noticed that all direct trains have been suspended. The rail planner app does show several options with two or three changes (I presume these are local trains). Can the rail planner be trusted or are all rail services to portugal suspended? Also, I have an EU Digital covid vaccination certificate - I presume that should be enough (as with my travels in the rest of Europe) or does portugal have stricter requirements? I know that a covid test is required if you travel by air. Not sure if the same is required for train travel. Thanks so much in advance for your advice... travel during the covid world is doable but things change every day!
Hello, so I am trying to book a reservation from Nice to Paris on November 6. The eurail booking website doesn’t have any and when I go to the station, they said that they only have 1st class available for reservations, no second class. But when i check the SNCF booking website, the train is not sold out, there are still tickets there for sale. Does this just mean that the Eurail seats are sold out, like is there a maximum number of seats Eurail can reserve?
Hello dear membersI am planning for europe trip with spouse and 3 children using global pass starting from Gothenburg Sweden and going all way to Rome.Guidance on following points is required. 1. Is it comfortable to travel on europass with children on such long journey.?2. Sleeping berths or comfortable seats for sleeping are included in europass or i need to pay extra for it?3. Do i need to download all apps for trains or from a single app i can reserve seats.4. By night trains what do we mean in terms of seats?Thanks in advance
Hello,I have two seat reservations on Eurostar with the interrail pass however I cannot travel on those days anymore due to new travel restrictions/requirements.I know that if I cancel the reservations I won’t get any money back but is there an option to just change dates somehow?
Hi! So I’m planning my trip that I am about to do during late autumn/winter and I really want to make it as a cheap experience as possible. Therefore I am aiming for trains that doesn't require reservationsI am totally new to this but I have done a lot of research, though there are some formulations I can't wrap my head around. For instance when I search for connections with no reservation required I sometimes see this grey statement that there is no information available about that particular train, even thought I only chose to see search results with no reservations. What does this mean? Is it cancelled or is it a commuter train with no booking what so ever?Also when I look up connections on the rail planner app it doesn't necessarily say this, it just says when reservation is mandatory, but when I check the facilities it sometimes says “no reservation on part of journey”. Does this mean that there is a specific distance during that ride that costs money? It often says this when a re
