I've just bought a relatively large (60+10 liters) backpack for traveling. When I got home, I noticed that I can only get into the large compartment from the top. And I can't open it at the front like a travel bag.
What do you think? I've never traveled with a backpack before? Is that a disadvantage? Should I exchange it?

Ich würd sagen es kommt drauf an wie du reist. Wenn du immer nur eine Nacht irgendwo bleibst oder auch mal im Zug übernachtest finde ich das unpraktisch.
Bei längeren Aufenthalten wäre mir das eher egal.
Aber unmöglich ist eine Fahrt damit auch nicht. Man muss vielleicht überlegter packen und eventuell mehr rumkramen, wenn man etwas sucht.

Depending on what sort of trip you’re doing, and what you’ll need, 70L sounds big!
I’m currently travelling with 28L, albeit I don’t have any hiking/ camping gear etc.
