Hi all!

This spring/summer I will finally travel by Interrail for the first time! Very enthousiastic about it, however while trying to check the actual timetable, the Interrail app only shows the trip from Copenhagen to Oslo containing two transfers (incl. Karlstad). That trip would take over 10hrs. In the previous topics and on other sites, I understood that it should be possible to travel from Copenhagen to Oslo with a single transfer in Goteburg, that would save almost 2hrs!

Does anyone know more about this? Thanks in advance!

Thanks a lot for the reply! I thought I checked the same trips with different (earlier) dates, but I might have made a mistake checking it (I have so many tabs with different options open haha).

You are probably too early for spring/summer timetables. Yes the journey is possible via Göteborg and from 2024 there are more trains per day between Göteborg and Oslo (great news!).

Have a look here (although I think a few weekend trains are missing) : https://www.seat61.com/trains-and-routes/copenhagen-to-oslo-by-train.htm
