Eurail seat reservations sent by post?

I tried for the first time to make a seat reservation on a Norway train from Fauske to Trondheim through Eurail website and it says the reservation will be sent by post. Is it always the case for all reservations through Eurail? I understand I can make a direct reservation by calling Entur’s customer service, not online on their website, which can be expensive. The other option is to go to a staffed train station in Norway. I am concerned because I will start my trip to Europe next week. Any advise?

You can also chat with Entur, which will be cheaper than calling them.

If you travel over Easter I'd really advise you to make reservations in advance.

Call Entur, it will still end up cheaper than the 9€ mailing fee
