I do not want to connect My Trip to my mobile pass at home as I am worried when I connect trip to pass that will count as Day 1, but I need to reserve some seats.
Can somebody tell me if connecting the pass to a trip a week or so before your first trip is ok to do?

Thanks in advance

Connecting your pass to a Trip will not use a travel day. Travel days are only used on the actual date, from 00.00 CET, when the journey takes place. You can deactivate an active journey until 23.59 CET the day before the day of the journey.

Reservations are completely separate from all that process on the app. They can be made on eurail.com or if you want to avoid extra fees book through the railway company. Have a read at https://www.seat61.com/interrail-and-eurail-reservations.htm

For further questions please mention route and travel date.
