If I have Spain as my country of residence, and I travel once from latour de carol-enveitg to madrid through barcelona, and then I need to leave the country same way (Madrid to bcn to latour and then paris), this counts as my 2 allowed home country trips. But does it also count as a home country trip if I take the train from barcelona to montpellier and viceversa?

I have the 10 days in 2 months global pass.

All days (23.59-00.00 CET) when you board a train is a travel day. You can travel on a maximum of 2 travel days in your country of residence. So all days when you board a train in Spain are counted.
