Hello

my husband and I are both over 60 and want to use the trains to travel fromBristol to Kitzbuhel in Austria. We think London to Paris and overnight stay then on to Munich the next day and overnight stay then on to Austria. We will do a similar pattern on return. We ain to travel in about 10 days. Do we need Eurail pass after Brexit.
any advice or suggestions will be received. We don’t even know which pass we need.  Will we be too late to get train reservations. We fancied an adventure to visit friends instead of putting up with airports.  Thank you in advance

There is a limited number of pass holder seats on the Eurostar and on popular departures and during high season those sell out weeks, and sometimes months in advance.

The best place to see the availability of passholder seats and make reservations on the Eurostar is

https://www.b-europe.com/EN/Booking/Pass#TravelWish

Press "later trains" and eventually you will find the next available connection.

If you have a mobile pass you need to generate a Pass Cover Number in order to make the reservation at b-europe. You do that here in the PCN generator:

You’ll need interrail passes. Read the sections on this site about how to reserve. The critical section is Eurostar.where there are limited passholder places. Availability can be checked before you buy a pass on the Belgian Rail site. If you can give dates and an itinerary the experts here can help. Do your homework first though. My wife and I are are of a similar age and have travelled over 10000 miles this year. Also look at the site the man in seat 61 for inspiration
