Hi, my friend added me to his trip and booked are tickets together through his trip to make sure we had the same trains. Do i still need to activate my pass even though he has my tickets? If so, how would i do that?
The pass is your ticket and you have to activate it to be able to travel. Either on your own phone or on your friend's phone. The best is on your own phone so you can also travel independently if needed (you never know).
Reservations are separate; who has them is not important.
