Hi,
Monschau in Germany seems to have a railway station but it appears not listed as destination. I would like to travel from Aachen, Germany, and then after a few days in Monschau move on to Kassel, Germany. What should I do?
Thanks!

No trains.

There is a renewed BUSline-now running a bit faster and ev 60 mins normal or ev 30 mins peak times from Aachen (centre, busstation)-via HBF=main station. Organised by AVV=AC verkehrsverbund. More info -as always-via bahn.com or via mobil.nrw.de

You have to pay for bus-but untill 31/8 here in DE you can buy a dirt cheap ticket for 9€ valid in ALL of DE in ALL local transit-also bustram etc in all the other places you may want to visit in your trip. NOT in the sleek white ICE/IC-these are long-distance

Trains to M have been cancelled since shortly after war.

Verwarring is easy; hier in DE heeft zowat elk mini-dorpje toch een ZOB=BUS Bahnhof. Zo heet het nu eenmaal hier in dit land. Bij dat in M staat een flinke boekenruilkast.

Thanks, both!
I heard about that €9 ticket, such a wonderful initiative! Where can one buy them, please?

Any German station with ticketing facilities: office or machine, sales locations or other transport, tram, bus, etc.
