Hektor. We have a follow up question. Which company (which website) do you recommend using, to book from Ghent → Liege → Luxembourg? For most Trains within Belgium, we have used “BelgianTrain.be”. Since this trip (Ghent to Luxembourg to Trier) crosses borders, we initially used “b-euorope.com” (I think it is the SNCB International). For German routes, while in Trier and Cochem, we were told to use “http://bahn.com/en” or “VRM”. It is a bit confusing. When i search for the route (Ghent → Liege → Luxemboug” I find “https://www.raileurope.com/en-us”. We were told not to use 3rd party re-seller sites, but instead use the native country’s website. So, which website would YOU recommend for “Ghent → Liege→ Luxembourg”thanks. .
Wow. We thank you. This is perfect information. The MAP is just what we were looking for. And your comments are reassuring. We WILL look into the Liege option. Thank you, very much

Hektor, and Al_G, and others, I am confused. I have a few questions. If there is Maintenance work on the Tracks (affecting Vienna to Salzburg Routes) from May 2 to May 22, does that mean that NO Trains travel over those Tracks? If so, what are people going to do - who travel regularly (between Vienna and Salzburg)? I have not yet looked to see what type of Flights, or Private Van Shuttles might be available Question-1: I was planning to go from Vienna to Salzburg on May 15th. Does that mean no trains on that date?Question-2: When I look at OBB, it lists the following Trains (RJ, RJX, and ICE). I assume that RJ and RJX are both RailJet? And, ICE - I think it InterCity Express? Does that maintenance work impact ALL Trains (RJ, RJX, and ICE)? I guess that this is similar to my question-1. Question-3: My preference was to take the RJ or RJX (at 9:28am, or, 9:55am), which appear to be Direct Routes (without many stops). I was unable to Reserve a Seat for the 9:28am, or the 9:55am Trains.
Thanks for the response. I’ve been looking for a couple of months. Must be looking too early. I’ll wait and see if any Seat Reservations open up. And if not, since you looked at a Monday, just a couple of days away, and found seats, then we should be OK. Thank You.
