Hi everyone. I want to reserve a train from Cluj Napoca to Budapest but I’m unable to even add it to the cart because it says:“Prices unavailableNo price results were found for this connection. It is possible that all pass holder seats are sold out. Please try searching for another connection or check 'More information' and try other ways to book this seat reservation. If no pass holder seats are available anymore you need to buy a separate full fare ticket to board.”Is this really fully booked? I get the feeling that it is due to that Interrail doesnt have access to the reservation system of Hungary. However, when I go to the site of the Hungarian reservation system ( https://jegy.mav.hu/jegy/szolgaltatas-valasztas?step=3 ) it is expensive and I don’t know how to enter that I have an interrail pass. How should I fix this? Or is it not doable? On the interrail site (https://www.interrail.eu/nl/plan-your-trip/reservations/how-do-i-book-my-reservations#instructions ) it states that there
Hi everyone, I saw that a lot of people here have questions about the seat reservations to Split. I want to take the train in the beginning of May to Split from Zagreb. As you probably know, seat reservations are required and you’re not able to book them on the Interrail site. I saw it was advised a lot to book a train seat when you’re in Croatia. however, I fear that I won't be able to get a place then, so im looking for other ways to get a seat reservation. I saw on the site of Croatian railways ( https://prodaja.hzpp.hr/en ) that you can book tickets for the train I would like to get. however, I nowhere see an option to enter that I have an interrail pass. I only see discounts for youth/students. Is that the same? Or is it unnecessary to book ahead anyway because there will be enough seats in every instance?thanks in advance :)
Hi there, I am travelling for 3 months (unlimited travel days) with The Netherlands as starting point, and wanted to go to the balkans/eastern Europe. However, when looking up trains in this area I can barely find any unfortunately. Ive seen some other topics from a while ago about this too, but I find it hard to figure out what I need to do/conclude from it. Is it better to just not go there at all as you need to take busses a lot (and those are not covered by interrail)? I’ve also read some things about there being trains in serbia and North-macedonia but just not internationally registred so it’s hard to know what the schedules are. Are there alternatives that are worth it? F.e. I saw that Romania is accessible still by a night train from budapest, and that it is possible to go from there to Sofia and then a train to halkali (Istanbul-west). Is this doable? Sorry if this is a bit vague but im new to this and really struggling with planning my trip.Thank you in advance for any help!
Hi there, I'm trying to get out of sofia, and my plan was to go to Bratislava. I guess the night sleeper from Bucharest to Budapest is the most suitable for this, but I cannot seem to find a way to book a seat or bed online, without paying for the whole ticket. I am scared that if I book it in the train station, it will be sold out. I tried OBB, db and CFR. It is for tomorrow. Help is very appreciated, thank you in advance!
