Skopje to Belgrade

Hello,

I am in North Macedonia right now and would like to get to Serbia. I saw that normally there's a train which goes from Skopje to Belgrade, but can't find any information about it. Does anyone know anything about the existence of this train?

My Informations from Germany is that the train is currently not in Operation :/ Maybe aske North Macedonian Rail directly :)

I´ am not working for Eurail or Interrail i just share my knowledge here. Please ask in the Community and not via private message as this is the fastest way to get an answer. I prefer English/German/ Czech for my answers. In case of Reservationquestions please share some details like Route, Date, Trainnumber as otherwise we can just provide general advices or answers

On the Macedonian railways’ website, the line for Belgrado is empty in the departure and arrival tables:

Please ask questions in the community and not via a private message. That's the quickest way to get a response. I don't work for Eurail/Interrail.

As @seewulf said in Balkan countries, its best to ask railway companies directly, before each journey. The information on the website can be correct, but dont have to be. In this case it is     mztransportad@mztransportad.com.mk

they answer quite fast.

 

If you are in Skopje, you can also just go to the train station and ask. Perhaps you visit the Matka Canyon, the busses also start from the trainstation.
