Are there any restrictions on taking the same route twice (round trip)?

Hi!

I want to travel from Germany to Greece and my idea was to go via Italy and take the ferry to Greece (either from Ancona or Bari). I would stay in Greece for a few weeks then and afterwards go back to Germany via italy with the same ferry (with a 2-month global pass).
Do you know if there are any restrictions on taking the same route twice, so either train or ferry?

Thanks for answers, any help is appreciated!

The only restriction you have is that you only can use a maximum of two travel days in your country of residence. Otherwise you can travel as you like.
