Hi there.
What international trains are currently running from Sofia and Bucharest train stations. Are there any to Serbia (eg direct to Belgrade) from either country for example? Through my online research it seems like lots of the trains have been discontinued due to Covid, so just wondering what options are available from each of these sittings. Thanks
None. ONLY remaining INtern train to B-gr is to black mountains=Montenegro/Bar. Line to Budapest is under complete rebuild-part in Serbije mostly replacement bus (payable), first sector is ready and has new trains, but for now does not take passes (fare is very low). Greece, Macedonia, BiH have NO INtern. trains at all, Albania never ever had them, but is also out of any pass. Using a pass is a waste of money anyway-local fares for what still runs-if they can get it done-is very low, even compared to recently post-covid reduced IR fares.

BiH just got back one “International Train” from Sarajevo via Mostar to Ploce :D Yeah after 20years they drive few kilometers further into Croatia :D
