Hello beautiful people!

I’m planning a Eurotrip for my 30th birthday in February/March 2025 and I’d like your advice on how to get from city to city using the Eurail Pass. Whenever possible, I would prefer to travel by night to save money/lower the cost of my trip.

Here’s my itinerary so far:

  1. Barcelona (3-4 days)
  2. Marseille (2-3 days)
  3. Milan (2-3 days) **or should I go to Venice instead?
  4. Vienna (3-4 days)
  5. Prague (2-3 days) **open to skipping this one/substituting with another destination
  6. Berlin (3-4 days)
  7. Amsterdam (3-4 days)

Thanks in advance and looking forward to reading your comments! 🙂

You don’t have night trains on all of your connections. Here’s a good overview of all the night train connections: https://back-on-track.eu/night-train-map/

Between 4-7 it’s possible to use night trains, best book them at the respective websites, you can click on the routes to get to the websites.

A detailed guide to fix your reservations you can find here:

Thanks for the reply, that helps a lot! 🙂

I just saw your Itinerary:

If you like High-end fashion shopping you can stay for more than a day in Milan or to visit Lake Como region or else it is better to visit Venice.

Prague is very beautiful and lively city, I would definitely recommend not to skip it. 😁
