I am travelling to Paris on the 21st July for 4 nights and I was just wondering if it is deemed safe to go? Is anyone there now, if so what is it like?

Hi
From my personal experience last week travelling to Paris and around Normandy, it was relatively safe. Some riots and the triggers were located on specific spots. If you have any travel options not only in Paris, I'd suggest you to take it.
Due to the riot prevention, buses and trams aren't working after 10 in Paris and its surrounding cities, and it might change depending on the security conditions.
