Hello, I’m wondering if it is possible to take the night train from Nice to Milan in the summer? Like around 22, 23 or 24 of july? And if not, is it possible to take a train that doesn’t take like 2 days to get in Milan?

This summer will be the first I will be travelling by train, so I actually don’t know anything about travelling by train, so if somebody could help, that would be great :)

Kind regards,

Xiang van der Boon

There is no night train from Nice to Milano.

The journey is about five to six hours (depending on connection), not two days.

There are numerous connections with just a change at Ventimiglia.

Most timetables for summer aren’t published yet, so that’s why you won’t get a normal connection.

Just have a look a todays timetable to get an idea how it will be in summer.

Oooh really, so that is it. Okay great! Thank you for your answer @Hektor !! 😃

Happy Nw Yr of the rabbit, since yesterday.

IN fact about NO timetable at all will be presented for summer anywhere-but as above, use next week/same day as rough idea on how often/how long etc. and where to change.

You likely intend more trips: this site has much more info aimed at those who hardly know ho to: seat61.com
