Hi, we’re staying in Briançon and would like a day trip into Italy. I had hoped to go to Turin but it looks very long and complicated by train. Are there any other recommendations of good day trips from Briançon? I’ve been trying to find a map to help me look at connections from Briançon but that doesn’t seem available anywhere.

Briançon is the end of the railway. You could go to Gap.
From what I could see there are buses to Oulx and Modane but only in the winter. You could contact the tourist office I guess. It still looks like a complicated journey.
