When will you be travelling? any idea where i can collect the swiss family card? Is there a way to use it on point to point fares ONLINE? e.g. from Zermatt to Visp?
sorry what do you mean? i dont quite understand why from Basel Bad?
the saver day pass should allow my travel from Zermatt main station to Singen (german town border swiss) and kids travel free?and the part from singen to stuttgart i can buy separately on bahn.com?not sure if this works?
so maybe it makes sense to get for 2 adults i.e. 140 CHF and then buy a separate ticket from Singen to Stuttgart?
i am looking at saver day pass that costs 52euro each adult n 19 euro each kid. 11th Dec, and yes i checked both bahn and sbb
i do not intend to buy Eurail as i feel that is more expensive than buying individual ticketsdo you know if the short distance journeys that has multiple options daily will have an increase in prices nearer to travel dates?e.g. milan to como is now Euro 15i know that Bahn prices remain quite stable but not sure about italian trains thks
You should look into the difference between (mostly 3 beds on top of each) sleeper (schlafwagen) and couchette (2x3 or 2x2 bunks) (liegewagen). In /en/ its all ´sleeper´ but thats a bit misleading. The real sleepers tend to sell out pretty fast on NightJet. NightJet stock an vary a lot-a week or so ago I saw one passing by and this was rented/leased pretty old stock not from OeBB. i read review that couchette are not as comfy as sleepers, u think?
thank you!so what happens if i book a 3 bed sleeper cabin for 4 persons (2 adults and 2 kids)?i could get 1 bed in another cabin but i don’t use it?
