I’ve tried to book a seat in https://travel.b-europe.com/Eurail-GE/en/booking-tgv#Outbound, but i have only mobile version of Eurail France. It’s only available only for paper ticket? You don't need a paper pass, you need a Pass cover number (PCN) and in an earlier reply above I added the link where you get the PCN for your mobile pass. Here is the link again: https://community.eurail.com/news-and-announcements-39/pass-cover-number-generator-is-live-5653 Thank you for your advises. I can't get through this problem without anyone in this site :)
The price is higher at Eurail because they charge an extra fee of 2 EUR per train and person. Also Eurail sell no 10 EUR reservation for the TGVs but only the 20 EUR reservations even if 10 EUR reservations are available. This is the reason why the experienced travellers in the community recommend you not to book through Eurail if you can avoid it. I plan to travel from Strabourg-Rennes on 27 Dec and Rennes-Lille on 29 Dec. Point-to-point train ticket is extreamely high. The trains from Strasbourg to Rennes on the 27th of Dec are starting to sell out so you better make your reservation ASAP. From Rennes to Lille there is still a lot af availability on the 29th of Dec. Check availability and reserve here: https://travel.b-europe.com/Eurail-GE/en/booking-tgv#Outbound Pass Cover Number is generated here if you have a mobile pass. https://community.eurail.com/news-and-announcements-39/pass-cover-number-generator-is-live-5653 Dear AnnaB, I’ve reserve the seat via https://www.eurail.com/en/book-reservations#/ at the higher cost than https://travel.b-europe.com/Eurail-GE/en/booking-tgv#Outbound. Why it’s diferent in price?
The one country pass is a flexible pass. As you plan to travel during the holidays I recommend that you, if you plan to travel with trains that need reservations, check that reservations are available and make reservations as soon as possible. Please note that eurail.com doesn't show availability unless you have bought a pass and logged in on your Eurail account. What routes do you plan to travel in France? Thank you for your reply. Hi Mhaisho, Those two days would be flexible; once you activated the pass, you would have the entirety of the next 30 days in which to travel on two days of your choosing (these are known as “travel days”). Being in the middle of the Christmas and New Year period, there is likely to be high demand for train services on the 27th and 29th December, so if you have a clear idea of your plans, you probably should try to book as soon as is practical for you. Before you buy though, you may want to compare the price of this pass against standalone tickets, which you can buy directly from the French national railway operator SNCF here: https://www.sncf-connect.com/en-en/train-ticket. I say this because Eurail passes tend to increase in value-for-money with the number of days purchased (two days is less than it is even possible for us to buy in Europe), and you have to also factor-in the cost of seat reservation fees if you plan to ride any TGVs (French high-speed trains) or most intercity trai
