Thank you for the kind welcome to the Eurail community! We are Scott and Lisa embarking on travel after raising our 3 sons. I first became inspired to travel from a young age visiting my French grandparents. In my teens and into my twenties I backpacked through Europe using a Eurail pass in the early and mid 80’s. Loved train travel- ease of exploration, beautiful scenery, meeting fellow hostel users and locals and discovering new places. My husband has never been to Europe nor experienced train travel, so very excited to share it all with him. France and Switzerland are our first trip’s destinations. I am feeling a bit nervous planning the trip, so reading the posts from this community is giving me a renewed can-do spirit! Thank you!
