Thank you :) Nothing is set. Just me trying to make it all work. They're the places we want to go...trying to figure out how to get to them all. You are like my travel agents, thank you. Maybe I should go speak to a travel agent...Happy to go in any order (before I book accommodation, then that will lock in dates). I just looked into going from Ancona to Split, the ferry takes about 11.5 hours. I'm not keen on spending that long travelling if i can avoid it. Happy to fly if we can to save time. Do you think flying from Naples to Split is ok? New itinerary according to my favourite experts = 1. London - Paris (travel day 1- via train)2. Paris - Monterosso (travel day 2 - via train) 3. Monterosso - Naples (travel day 3 - via train)4. Naples - Split (travel day 4 - via plane or ferry)5. Split - Dubrovnik (travel day 5 - via bus)6. Dubrovnik- Athens (travel day 6 - via plane)7. Athens - Mykonos (travel day 7 - via ferry)8. Mykonos - Santorini (travel day 8 - via ferry)9. Santorini - London
Ok I'm back!!! Been away and unable to keep planning our Europe trip!I am about to buy our Eurail Global Pass (I think!), if I can figure this out. The best way from Naples to Mykonos is by plane correct? So i cant use my eurail pass for flights obviously? I am just trying to figure out exactly what pass to buy. This is our itinerary1. London - Paris (travel day 1)2. Paris - Monterosso (travel day 2) 3. Monterosso - Naples (travel day 3)4. Naples - Mykonos (travel day 4 - via plane?)5. Mykonos - Santorini (travel day 5 - via ferry?)6. Santorini - Athens (travel day 6 - via plane?)7. Athens - Dubrovnik (travel day 7 - via plane?)8. Dubrovnik- Split (travel day 8 - via ferry?)9. Split - London (travel day 9 - via plane?)So I'm thinking I only need a 4 day global pass for the first 3 stages of our trip that we'll be using a train, as the rest of the journey will be via plane or ferry. (And ill buy ferry and plane tickets separately) Is this correct thinking?Or does the eurail pass include
Oh dear my mind is blown!! Thanks again for amazing replies, what would I do without you guys. What do you suggest I do? I'm happy for someone to just tell me what to do! Cos I literally got no idea haha. Do I just buy a Eurail Global pass and figure out all the times and routes closer to the time? Is there any rush to buy the pass or book trains? I'm only trying to work out routes and times because I need to book accommodation at places and need to know when I'll be arriving in those cities. For example I don't want to book and pay for accommodation in Cinque Terre saturday 15th June, but I'm still on a train that night!!! So I sort of need an itinerary of travel days to know where I'll be sleeping on what dates. I just looked on bahn.com and typed in Saturday 16th March (to get an idea)…Is this something I could do? (Photos attached)And I can use my Eurail pass for these trains? By reading that, looks to me I would leave Paris at 7:21am and be in Monterosso at 7:05pm?Seeing if I'm do

We want to do: London, Paris, Cinque Terre, Positano, then flying (I guess!) to Greece and then Croatia. But I think getting to and around Greece and Croatia I have sorted. It's just the first part I can't work out the train situation and what pass/tickets to buy. But all your replies are amazing, I'm so grateful. I've just spent some time reading and researching and taken these notes. Please correct me where I'm wrong or unsure of somesomething. The best thing would be to buy a EURORAIL GLOBAL PASS?FLEXI (4 days is the one I think I need) 1st class = $534 pp 2nd class = $420 pp Travel day #1London - Paris: Eurostar high speed train. 2.5 hours.
