I have a 10 day first class pass, not activated, and have already purchased through SBCB reservations for Eurostar and TGV.I now wish to exchange the pass for one with fewer journeys and even though this is a reduction in value to Interrail I understand that I can do this for a 15 Euro fee. Will my existing reservations (for which I had to generate a pass cover number) be valid with the new pass? Thanks, Scott
I am preparing myself for travel across Spain to Portugal in the busy Christmas period by looking at the RENFE and Rail Europe apps to judge ticket availability, particularly on the San Sebastian - Madrid route. Just as an example, yesterday RENFE was showing ALL trains for TODAY as FULL whereas Rail Europe was showing availability on ALL trains. Same goes now for tomorrow’s 9.02am train. This baffles me - but the key question is what would the ticket office in San Sebastian be showing now? Would they have a reservation to sell me because in fact the Rail Europe app is showing a truer position than Renfe? Thanks, Scott
Yesterday I bought mobile Interrail passes for myself and my wife and went off straight away to the SNCB site https://www.b-europe.com/EN/Booking/Pass#TravelWish to successfully buy Eurostar reservations London - Paris which were fast selling out for December 17th!I am now looking at going to https://travel.b-europe.com/Eurail-GE/en/booking-tgv#TravelWish to secure onward TGV reservations.I bought the reservations even though the SNCB site said something like ‘paper pass only’ but I had ONE generated pass cover number which I used against the purchase of both my wife and my own passes.I have now read at How do I book my seat reservations? | Interrail.eu “Paper Pass only - Via SNCB: domestic and international trains (Thalys and Eurostar)” and I am getting a little concerned because I think to myself “How could Interrail and SNCB sites both not be updated to reflect what was in my head about the status quo regarding using SNCB for mobile passes?”So questions arise:Are the Eurostar reserv
Hello!I am planning with my wife to interrail from UK to Portugal with mobile passes to meet up with our daughter near Porto over Xmas. The route includes Paris – Madrid, overnighting in San Sebastian. The problem is San Sebastian to Madrid, probably on 20 Dec. In theory I should be able to buy a reservation in San Sebastian after arriving on 19 Dec BUT (given what I see on the Renfe site for booking the 9.02am Alvia on Friday) I don’t think I can place any reliance on the Dec train not being sold out. It’s pretty important to all the other bookings I am likely to be making to be able to get this reservation – or the equivalent on the new Dec timetable. That’s background, the questions are:As soon as Dec timetable info is available can I get a friend in Spain to go into GRANADA station and buy reservations valid for interrail for us? Are the reservations pieces of paper to be sent by post or can they be emailed? If that is not possible, and with fingers crossed given what I see for curre
