When I am booking a TGV in France, there is no option to change the age, as I am 24 years old and the site only has this option from 26 to 59.
Is there a problem with booking like this?

No problem as there is no price difference for Reservations between Childs, Youth & Adults 
Just use the Adult reservation 26 to 59 :)
IT is only important for normal tickets-ju/senior gets discount-off peak only.
