I'm deciding whether to use an interrail pass or buy regular tickets for next summer. Using existing timetables as a general guide. I know these will be updated but I just want to get an idea of costs etc.
If I use the interrail pass it says there are two supplements to pay on the return journey (part of our return leg is Amsterdam to London). It requires a supplement for Amsterdam to Brussels and then again for Brussels to London.
Can the Amsterdam to Brussels supplement be avoided? (Travelling on a Thursday in August 2025)
On the outward leg of the journey (July) there is just one supplement (Eurostar) and one train covering the same distance - ie London to Amsterdam (direct, no change in Brussels).
(We're then going further north and traveling around the netherlands.)
Thank you!
