I just exchanged my ticket. Are the seat reservations that I booked on the interrail site still valid or do I need to somehow change the pass numbers?

Hello, I appreciate that this answer is too late to be useful, but just in case other travelers had the same question: yes it is! A pass exchange does not affect any current standing reservations you might have. A reservation is connected to you as a traveler and not to your pass.The only exception to this is if you switch from a Global pass to a One Country pass. Any international trips will then become invalid.

Si vous suivez les instructions pour les remboursements et les échanges, c'est assez facile. Vous achetez vos nouveaux billets puis réclamez l'échange. J'ai reçu mes nouveaux billets puis j'ai envoyé le formulaire au service client et j'ai reçu une confirmation dans les 2-3 heures 100% - 15€ par billet.
J'espère que Google Translate a bien fonctionné :) Je comprends le français mais je n'ai ni parlé ni écrit depuis longtemps.

That's mostly the case indeed, but not always. E.g. for the TGV Paris - Milan you only need a pass for France. So if you exchange a global pass for a France pass, your reservation will remain valid and usable.
