Hi there - I’m trying to get a train from Berlin to Warsaw and PKP Intercity is quoting me 50 dollars Canadian , Deutsche Bahn website is quoting me 33 Euros - all of which are expensive… while the App for Eurorail is only saying 6 Euros. It’s the same train  so why the difference?

Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

The reservation costs €4.50 and cannot be booked online via PKP or DB. The prices you quote are for normal tickets. This reservation is best booked at a ticket office (can be in many countries) or by phone via DB (collect at a DB ticket machine).

Eurail can book it online but will add a 2€ booking fee and since they don't manage to deliver it by email, you then have the privilege of paying 9€ for delivery by post.

The RES for THESE trains is indeed 6€, 4,50 is for the Inland RES-optional ICE/IC by DB.

Plus you are among the first-in general RES only opens 2 month advance. And INside PL for domestic only 30 days advance.

Not if you book via DB.
