Caledonian Sleeper connection to Fort William not in MyPlanner app

Hi,

we use the caledonian sleeper from London Euston to Upper Tyndrum. But this route to Fort Williams is not in the Planner, whereas the connection to Inverness is shown. What now? How can I create my ticket for the train? Any ideas?

Thank you!

Either add it manually or just add the Inverness journey, staff aren’t going to care.

That train splits into 3 portions, Inverness is the one that keeps the same train number so systems unable to correctly interpret the splitting will only show that portion as a single train.

I am assuming you have a reservation for either the sleeper or seats, this MUST be to the correct destination you want as obviously with the train splitting you would end up in the wrong place.

Note for Fort William portion, the sleeper cars travel directly but passengers booked for seats are carried in the Aberdeen portion and have to leave the train at Edinburgh sometime between 3.45-4.30 AM to board a separate Fort William carriage that does not travel from London.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for your explanation. Makes sense now.

We are booked on the sleeper, so it should run smoothly.

Thanks again!
