I’d like to use a 2 month continuous pass to visit friends in Wien, Paris, Berlin, Normandy, Lubliana, and Albi and Florence. Can I retrace my steps multiple times over the 2 months, or do I have to make a complicated one way itinary?

as long as it is not in your country of residence, you can visit a destination as many times as you want during the validity of your pass.
